exactly? by "start out strong" I mean they rarely don't make the play offs (not 100% get in, but rarely do they not), but rarely (what 2?) make it to the SB. They are a play off team, not a SB team. And are often full of fail.
I am always amazed how often people think they will make it to the SB "this year" then they pull stupid shit like this time and again.

The media hypes them up every year just because of where they play, cali is a big market and the chargers are the only ones who've showed anything lately when teams like the 49'ers and raiders remain so irrelevant. I think Norv Turner is a joke though, with a proper headcoach they could be a SB team. His first interview with the NewOrleans press, Darren Sproles even said all the training camps up there were a joke and said now he realized why people called SD "soft".

I agree that they have potential, which is why they will forever be a consistent playoff team. but ya someone has to push their asses further if they ever actually expect to get anywhere.
