How was the INT not totally Romo's fault? He read the defense wrong and made a poor throw. Despite what the play is "designed to be", if it's not there, it's not there. It's not going to always unravel the way you want it to or how it did in practice. That doesn't mean you force it in there and hope.

I said not totally his fault, not that he was absolved from blame. I just don't think it was as glaringly bad as it seemed to be.

Technically, you can argue that interceptions are never "totally" the QBs fault because someone has to catch them. But then you'd be Deejay.

That pick was 9000% romo's fault. he is scrambling to his left, so he literally sees Revis with bryant behind him. What does he do? Literally throw it right to dez. I don't care if you ran the wrong route or some shit, there is no way that throw should ever be made.

The announcers praising rex ryan for the blocked punt td and revis int were sos infuriating. As if someone ryan made the cowboys let someone come completely untouched up the middle on a fucking punt or made romo throw it right to revis at the end of the game. That made me rage to a previously unknown level.

I don't really even know what to think about the game tonight.

pats looked great then bad in the preseason. I saw none of their new defensive schemes / looks. Unsure how branch/ocho are doing in the offense. Their safety situation is confusing. I think they will be a 10 win team or a 14 win team. Opening the year on the road with a division rival that always plays you well is quite unsettling
