Make sure to get off the computer too. The monitor emits radiation and sitting causes heart disease.
Also bananas contain potassium which is slightly radioactive so make sure not to go to the supermarket

Well it's true that we're constantly bombarded by millions of radiation emitions, the difference is in the actual transmission power. A cell phone next to your head is orders of magnitude stronger than the background radiation we experience from other sources because in the case of a cell phone, you're actually at the source, with it against your head. It's not remotely comparable to wifi, microwaves, etc.
It's not an unreasonable concern imho, but as I said, use a headset, problem solved. The problem is borderline negligible though.
And we are talking about harmful radiation here?Cell Phone Emissions
Good to know BG hasn't lost it's condescending flair, not that I expected any less. :D
I mean really, comparing using a cellphone placed near your head constantly to a microwave? Oh BG, you never fail to entertain.
Either way, I learned something from this thread.
Don't worry; If you think you're catching the cellphone cancer, just clear it up with some homeopathic plutonium.
Pretty sure that standing in the sun for 5 minutes is much more cancer-inducing than using your phone for 5 minutes.
Lies and slander.
If you're concerned with the radiation just get an iPhone. There was a study I saw on TV or read in the news (don't remember) that rated it as the best. Probably during the iPhone3/4 days. Not sure how it stacks up to other new phones coming out/released. If you're seriously concerned, just holding the phone a few inches away decreases the amount substantially.
Don't forget all the radiation blowing over here from Japan on wind currents
Wait a fucking second.
People still talk on their phones?
