Stranger Things is pretty interesting so far. Just finished ep 2. Dunno how to categorize it.... Like the "main cast" is kids, but I don't think it's a kids show. More hardcore than Goosebumps and the like. Drama kinda too heavy for kids...

I'm a sucker for horror films. Haven't liked many recently. Gotta say I think this is pretty well done...

my wife watched some episodes while i was out tonight and said she really enjoyed it. Reminded her a bit of Donnie Darko. Idk how accurate that is because my wife is weird.

Finished it in one sitting while nursing a hangover. Really good and well done, but personally I'm tired of the 80s throwbacks at this point. Still, would recommend as a weekend watch to anyone.

Wynoa Ryder or whatever her name is was annoying as fuck in this, I almost skipped every scene involving her (at first) but aside from this minor complaint, it was very entertaining and I liked some of the ideas they had.

Also, is it just me or does the introduction music and sound fx remind you of Mass Effect?

Didn't expect a whole lot going into it. Pretty much only went off the trailer from like a month ago. I have to say I was thoroughly entertained with the whole show. Yeah sure you can say they are going off the whole 80's nostalgia thing, but unlike some others, I feel it's done well in this case and didn't mind it at all. The kids were all great and was kinda sad when it ended. 8 episodes was fine, I just want a season 2 now!

Naw, I thought it was close to being Tron-esque. Which would go in hand with the whole 80s theme.
