It would also put us at a better in between distance for our parents which would be awesome as my parents have timeshare there and want to retire there once my mom is done teaching and hubby's parents still have their old house in Pensacola (they rent it out, but still plan on retiring there)

Florida is terrible. It has 4 parts: The Deep South (obviously shitty), Disneyworld, Israel, and Cuba.

There is no America there. The weather is miserable. Florida is like the type of place where Ksandra would go for vacation.

My only plans right now are Downtown Disney & a spring training game. Probably gonna be in Sarasota for most of the trip unless something else comes up, which despite being on a college campus on spring break 5 miles from the beach will probably not be the thrill of a lifetime

I've heard Sarasota's actually pretty nice, not sure if that's where you were last time or not. Florida's still shitty, though, I'd argue double shitty this time considered it's the middle of January and it's still not dependably like 60-70 all the time and is also occasionally kind of goddamn hot out

Archi has a point. The humidity has been pleasantly low since late November. I remember having trouble breathing in September because it was so bloody humid.
