botanically a tomato is a fruit but for culinary purposes its a vegetable (its also legally a vegetable lol in the usa for tax reasons)

What's bullshit is that those guys are on, paid administrative leave. Seriously, this is how you discipline someone who sprays down peaceful protesters? Not like it's just a rumor, it was on video ffs.

Most of the time when a cop does something wrong, he gets paid leave while its either further investigated or just straight up as the punishment. It's unusual for cops to get anything more than that as an initial punishment.

Shit, I know a cop that has gotten a DUI and hit two pedestrians on separate occasions. One of which while on the job, and one of which died. Paid leave > desk duty > fired.

Actually, no. Hippies are the Occupy protesters. This was a student sit-in to protest the doubling of tuition at UC Davis, and wasn't linked to the Occupy movement.
