SE has always been fairly generous where it comes to voice-overs. i'd assume that when they decided to remaster they'd started off with the intention/possibility of calling the VAs back for remastering lines if needed or adding new ones.. so for X-2 all they really needed to do was call back Gwen Yeo for Paine and whoever else if needed. based on KH and other various games and news outlets, the VAs all seem to love doing what they do anyway.

Yeah the people they get for VA are really awesome. I'm very excited for these games, gonna get the vita for them lol.

Given that I have no idea what the clipping in the article says, does this rumor/leak give any information about crossplay? I had considered picking the game up (again) for the extra content and ability to play the game on my PS3 and Vita, but given that I've already got a few copies of X and X-2, I don't think I could convince myself to pay what I expect they'll want.

ill need to see what video that comes from. I LOVED Lola (Ging Danga).

actually can't wait to play FFX again. i only actually fully played thru that one once.. X-2 i did 3 times (japanese once, and english i did a 100% completion with new game+)

Hmmm. Crossplay refers to multiplayer games being compatible with one another on PS3/Vita (PSASBR for example).
I'm assuming you mean sharing saves? In that case no, no info yet.

Sorry, I see that wasn't very clear. I was actually using the term to describe what is apparently more commonly referred to as cross-buy and cross-save. I meant being able to buy the PS3 version, get the Vita version with it, and sync saves across both.

Ah ok. In that case no, cross-buy is something only Sony has done so far with their first party games (PS All-STars, Sly, Ratchet, etc.) and no third party developer has jumped in and likely never will. They may let you share saves but that's still unknown.

Does the PS Vita have a screenshot function? Some locations are gorgeous on FFX.

I don't want to go through the hassle of homebrewing/hacking a sony handheld device again. Was a nightmare trying to get shit to work and keep up to date with various firmwares and such and I'm too lazy these days. Just want things to work lol.

That's rather disappointing. I was hoping that Sony or SE would see some value in bundling them. Maybe when we see the pricing, it'll make sense.

afaik sony has really tried to get other companies to use it, but other companies won't. So it's really all on SE.

i'd gladly pay $60 if it were a cross-play bundle with both PS3 & Vita versions

i'd gladly pay $40 for the PS3 HD disc, but then i'd probably ignore the Vita versions since they'd most likely be another $40-60 total

And no, EU got nothing extra with X-2.
They also called back everyone for KH 1.5, it's silly to not do that for FF. If anything this means they might put some more extra effort and maybe add more stuff to what's already there.

oh nice. I was just assuming it would be more work than SE would put into a HD port. nice to be proven wrong.
