Only thing I didn't like about blitzball is how fast you became superior to the other teams. I loved the game, but then it would get boring fast when all my players just raped the shit out of every team I was up against.

Why the fuck haven't they made at least a mobile device blitzball game (if not full pc/console)? Maybe even have local wifi multiplayer or online teams or something. I'd throw some cash at it for sure.

Ah, lightning dodging. After I did it the fair and just way, my brother dug out the Lego Mindstorms set, built a cradle for the controller with a button-presser mechanism, taped the light sensor to the tv screen, and botted his way to victory in the most literal sense.

He's a mechanical engineer now...

hahaha well done.

i wasn't a huge fan of blitzball myself. got to a point where I just gave up trying for Wakka's weapon until much later when i felt bored enough to pick it up again

Wtf? Blitzball is literally the greatest mini game ever. I feel like over the years I've spent more hours on blitzball than I have on 50% of games I've ever played.

i dunno.. for some reason triple triad appealed to me more.

i think i attribute this to its overall simplicity, the card collecting element and the fact that doing well in TT can majorly affect how you play the rest of the game. Also i think i like it cos its turn based.

Blitzball was fun but after a certain point i think my certainty of winning was like 95% and that took a bit of the challenge out of it.

Honestly, that's the only way I would end up completing that without emulating/save-stating.

Fuck that shit, I've played it from levels 1-100 at least 3 times. Love that game. If it was a stand-alone game, I'd have bought it years ago.

I don't give a shit if its space ballerina and roofies mixing; the shit was fun. It was so enjoyable that it constituted 90% of my massive LFG time in XI; it very much assisted any positivity I have in regards to XI as a whole, because it took a shit-ton of my mind off of the fact that sitting around LFG for 8 hours a day during my college days wasn't exactly a fun way to spend free time. Conversely, one could argue that it may have only seemed fun because the alternative was standing around watching jueno for 8 hours. Probably a mix of both.

Never again, though.
