In their trailer it says 2013, but i guess it could just be the JP version in 2013

I feel like we'll probably get simultaneous release, in which case I might be wrong. Plenty of this year left to go though.

Worldwide release on both PS3 and Vita. This will likely be in October/November.

I loved X-2. The only game I have more hours on than X-2, is X. Really excited for this.

Yeah, I loved X and X-2 as well. Honestly, the only real issue with X-2 besides the awful story is how embarrassing it is to play around family or friends. >.> Gameplay and job system are just so good though.

I'm definitely more interested in playing X-2 again than X. I want another FF with that battle system...

Hell, it would be fun to just slap that kind of ATB/movement/chaining to the existing standard battle systems of 4 through 10 (without the mid-fight job-switching) just to spice things up.

I am too. I've only ever played it 1.5 times, as opposed to FFX which I've played at least 5 or 6 times. I had a 98% run and then gave up halfway through trying to 100% it. I loved the battle system. Looking forward to it just as much as FFX, especially with all the new content.

I played the fuck out of X-2. Anyone who refused to give the game a chance missed on a very fun game if you can get past the cheesy story.
