Cross play is pointless unless they do cross buy or give you a discount on the vita versions.

If there is cross buy and both versions have different sets of achievements then its nice since loading a save will give you all achievements. But if it shares the same achievements then its truly pointless.
People care about achievements still? -.-
I like achievements because they're extra incentives to do extra stuff in the game that I might otherwise not attempt or experience.
In other news, I've yet to 100%/platinum any game anyway, lol.
Doesn't take extra development time adding, but it usually does take away from some of the QA side of the game because you have to constantly test if some achievements work in multiple builds rather than testing whether the game works anyway. But ultimately by that point, most devs will be waiving shit left and right so I dunno if it has an impact overall.
Thats cause Platinumming 13-2 took all of like 3 extra hours.... Stupidest game I swear .... Well until they release 13-Returns or is that until they put Lightning in fucking XIV? I am not sure about that.
Cross Save is a nice function, but as said before, it really only matters if the game is CrossBuy. Games like Sound Shapes, Guacamelee and Sly Cooper all being cross save are a great thing. Something like this being CrossSave is just an incentive for all the achievement whores to buy both copies for a quick Platinum. ie SE making more money off people.
In other news... What does everyone think of what we heard of the new VO ending of X from Japan Expo today? I for one am not sure I dig it.
Normally I'd be annoyed since it seems like the easy-way out for them in terms of adding new content (vs the new stuff in the FF4/5/6 Advance series), but given we're getting all the X International and X-2 additional content in the package, I can't really complain since that's quite a few extra hours of gameplay I've never gone through before.
i like achievements simply for the fact that if you're doing "perfect game" playthough you'll typically have to hit almost all the achievements so it helps to track your progress. in XIII it was pretty lame with the "get all items at least once" thing, but all in all it's a way of rewarding people for what they do and you can have it up there for all to see and brag about it, if thats your thing.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Drama Takes Place One Year After FFX-2
Early reports from Famitsu state that Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster, one part of the Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, will have a voice drama. You don’t need to clear the game to hear it either, which may make it different from the 30 minute long drama that plays during the credits.
This added story takes place one year after the events of Final Fantasy X-2 and it will have new characters. Square Enix also made illustrations to go along with the story and confirmed the Vita version (which is a separate game) and Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for PS3 will have the drama.
Release date WRU?
Apparently EU needs a little help on figuring out how the product is displayed.
