Able to walk beside her for a year?? Does this mean this epilogue takes place a year afterwards, or are they taking away my happy ending. Gonna rage if they take away my happy ending >.>;

Or its just bad translation on their part.
It honestly doesn't really make sense... Tidus says he's been with Yuna for a year, yet also says it's been 2 years since the Calm began... wasn't X-2 set 2 years after X? >.>
Bah whatever, guess we'll find out.
New gamescon trailer with arranged battle music!
Startup additions are a bit too flamboyant for my tastes, but otherwise it sounds like an improvement. Hope the HUD info isn't that tiny on the Vita though.
Still no release date or footage on the Vita version running?
Nope
the remastered track is terrible. the intro is terrible. use of the same instrument makes it feel flat. theres no build up. and bass is missing
X-2 isnt getting remasters.. they'll just be using higher quality music.
there really was nothing wrong with X's music to need remastering of this sort. i'm of the opinion that music from FF8 and above have no real need for remastering - once you're in the realm of full channel sound with a decent midi suite everything becomes subjective. it seems even more odd considering they're replacing electronic music with electronic music.
the biggest offender in this track to me is the intro. you can attribute it to nostalgia if you like, but it lacks the build up that the original had because of the choice of trumpet synths and the abundance of reverb which make the notes far less distinct.
the trumpets also effectively drown out the bassline which is a huge pity because thats what drives a battle track forward. if you had never heard this track before then you'd have a harder time following the beat of the track without the clear bassline. furthermore this track also happens to use mixed meter...
and the original track feels warmer anywho.
i believe only certain tracks in X are getting this treatment anyway
There are quite a few songs that shouldn't be touched at all. "Silence before the Storm", "Mt. Gagazet", "Someday the dream will end", ect.
Someone else put it best, the new arrangement sounds like it's been injected with new life adding to the HD experience. They could add the choice of original tracks after completing the game for replay value. This remaster looks absolutely gorgeous.
Well, seems like the games are now delayed to 2014. Not official yet but that's what came out of PAX from the SE staff there.
booo
It will probably release after XIII-3 so I'm betting March
Every time this thread is updated and no release date is announced I die a little inside.
This time even more so.
