listened to the remastered OST. some tracks aren't so bad but a good number feel amateurish, flat or not nearly as warm as the originals (i think the boss battle track is the best example). i'd like to know who rearranged them. they should add a patch to the game to use original music imo.
you can call it nostalgia, but the whole remaster business is banking on nostalgia anyway.. so its a bad thing to offend.

personally, i think SE needs to learn that they shouldn't change too much of a good thing. also, i believe a bunch of intangible game-making values have been lost with the last generation.. at least in this company.
At least they didn't butcher A Fleeting Dream like they did with the Normal Battle Theme, Challenge or Besaid. The new remastered OST strikes the wrong tone on some of the tracks, completely changing the emotion evoked by listening to it. I also question some of the instrumental choices but I'm no musician so perhaps on explanation it'd begin to make some sense.

Loooooooooool FFX-3. What's Yuna going to tackle this time? Middle-age? Time Traveling threats from FFVII? Asinine writing?

I would love a original music patch. I would try the remastered stuff a little bit but it's tough to top the original.

If you mean both games there's no option unless you go digital (on Vita).

Considering his question I think he means PS3 and Vita versions.

Lighting bolts make me not want to play this game again. I never did win the chocobo race either though. Wasn't there a trick to the lightning bolts though? like you could save right there so dodge 15 then save. So at least if you screwed up you were not starting all over?

Pretty sure dodging the lightning bolts reset if you zoned, or reset if you loaded a save or something.

I never really had a problem with them. I would just dodge like 50 or something and then pause and take a mental break from it for a little bit, and go back and do more, etc.

There's a spot where you can force lightning to strike. Takes less than 15 min to do 200.
