So I ordered the guide mostly because I like reading through them for any lore information. It's shipped already whereas the game is still sitting in a box. It says it is supposed to arrive late tomorrow so I'll hold out hope till then. Finally buckled and got a 16 gig vita card for $33. Looks like I'll finally have a ton more reasons to use my vita now.

Wth is creature capture? Is that international version only?

Basically you can throw different kinds of traps all over Spira (you get them from the new Colosseum content) and capture monsters to use in your party. There are 4 kinds of traps: S,M,L (small, medium, large) and SP(Special). Each targets a specific kind of monster based on how big they are while the SP trap allows you to target a specific family and it can be used to capture monsters you're missing. You can also get creatures after defeating them in the Colosseum and there are also NPCs you can recruit this way (inclusing Seymour, Auron and Tidus). However you can't control the monsters directly, you have to modify their behaviour by clicking the analog sticks (R3= more aggressive, L3= less aggressive) but you can modify their ability lists and also feed them stuff to learn new ones. Like I said some monsters/NPCs are exclusive to certain chapters so you can miss them if you move on with the story.

I gotta wait til after work at 8 and rush to gamestop before it closes. Then hope they didn't bugger it all up; I reserved this 7 months ago (never reserved something so far in advance) so I'm a little nervous about if they still got record of me paying for this all (I do still have my reciept though).

So what sphere grid is everyone gonna use in FFX? Standard or Expert? I've heard that expert might be cool at first because you can take everyone in any direction but if you are planning to max out stats Standard has more nodes.
