Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD PS3/PSV

It is nice having Wakka and Lulu with Lancet so early in the game with the Master Grid. And the changes to the Sphere "Distill" Items being shifted to an ability is nice too. Kinda making Khimari my Sphere bitch.

I havn't minded the remixed music much. So far it has played well and i enjoy it.

Did they change the "Him" bullshit. Just call him Tidus already. We know he's a shitty character, but you can at least say his name!

I'm pretty sure those are new sketches. Their early versions looked completely different.

Anyway, I dived in and ordered the guide with the game anyway, but the reviews still seem pretty disappointing ._.; Shitty paper quality and less info than old guide from what people are saying.

I think it is done since you can rename him? Been a while since I've played and haven't got my copy yet, so, I can't remember lol.

They call him Tidus in the new audio drama but the games are the same.

Confirmed, worst guide I've seen since that big Diamond/Pearl combination guide+pokedex. Printed on several sheets of toilet paper using crayons in one of the worst data layouts I've ever seen. The walkthrough section for X is like 20 pages long.

Ironic, since I was just saying how brady guides are usually pretty decent. Least I only had to pay $12 for it.

This remaster is worth every cent I put down for it. So many feels.

As an SE fan I buy pretty much every release they put out, and obviously I have some FF games I like and dislike, but holy shit FFX is really making me realize how much SE dropped the ball on storytelling in the later FFs.

I'm sad that I remember how to get the full 100% because of how many times I've attempted:

(Do not skip any scenes)

- Moogle in Luca (get healed by it) should be on the second screen after you get control of Rikku & Paine
- Complete the first mission
- On the Airship talk to brother, paine, rikku, shinra (buddy isn't included but you get an al bhed book here)
- Talk to barkeep
- Sleep at the Celsius (barkeep option)
- Shinra check the treasure spheres and watch the first sphere
- on mt. gagazet make sure you beat leblanc to the top
- once you get back on the ship choose 'comfort brother' while he is on the ground

You would have had to miss one of these. But if you feel like you haven't then:

Additionally the game doesn't show the decimal point.
The guide you're looking at probably is saying the decimal but you seriously can't see it.
This is what messed me up on two of my playthroughs.

I did all that, like i said the Map doesn't show the decimal and i'm aware

But the save file on the vita shows and it says 6.0%

Like i said i just played 1h so i'll restart to be safe (i do remember skipping 1 thing Leblanc said so that might be it)

Does the Save File actually show the accurate %? I would think it would reflect the same value as the game.

Edit: I can't find any posts about it so I'll just create a new file real quick and check the value. Should be easy since you end the first mission with a 1.6%

Got the game pretty late last night but it was so worth the wait. I'm already freaking out about missing any Primers, (I already missed one in Besaid :/ along with Valefors 2nd overdrive). I can't wait to really get into the game and start on the side quests and such.

As far as the guide goes, I could tell it wasn't going to be good when I picked it up. It was so light and felt like I was carrying around a stack of construction paper. It has the basics though which is good enough. Glad I didn't pay full price for it though.

So is it just me or does X have crazy load times? I'm very early in the game (just met Yuna) and every time I step into a tent in Waka's village no loading, but you exit the tent and it's like a 5 second load.

For those of you just playing on the Vita: long ass stream
About an hour and 58 minutes in and you guys can see the PS3 load times on Besaid. I didn't think it was that bad but admittedly I'm too amped up about this music.

You're right though, seems to range between 3 to 5 seconds to load. (I was running around like a moron in Besaid because I couldn't remember where the fuck that dog with Valefor's overlimit was)
