I still have the original strategy guide for FFX/X-2. Are they good enough to get the Platinum for both games? Well at least regarding to any I can miss?

I still have mine as well, just use ps3trophies.com for the missable al bhed primers. X-2 on the other hand it's mandatory for 100% completion.

1) Is Eguide the same thing as a PDF? Aka i buy and can transfert to my ipad and read qith a PDF reader?

Got it today. I have the original FFX-2 but don't have original of X anymore. This was a nice deal in that regard. Just had to get the guide even though I know both of the originals will have way more info. Collectors item and all that. I'm just after aquiring Ifrit. Guess I'm going to be No Life-ing this game like before.

If you have IGN Prime ($6.95 a month) you can download a pdf of their Final Fantasy X wiki that has a section for the remaster differences. Bradygames doesn't look like they're providing a pdf so far.

I got mine today, haven't touched because gf has been over.

I never 100%'d the original and never played X-2. Should I bother using a guide or just play through it like this? I don't usually 100% games but I don't want to miss something crazy like you could in XII, and I don't remember if there were any of those in this game.

There's nothing crazy to miss. In X-2 you can miss some jobs but only if you completely skip certain sidequests and those appear on the map as long as you highlight locations. If you don't care about 100% just go without a guide, you'll have a lot more fun that way.

X-2; Get a special dressphere, and be able to solo the entire game with that character.

the only thing I would care about missing in X-2 would be dress spheres, which, I think the only one you can really miss is Trainer if you answer the Ronso questions wrong. and unless they fixed the bug you can miss out on Mascot if you do stuff wrong in ch. 5. (unlocked by getting episode complete in every area on ch. 5. Do zanarkand first)

otherwise, you might miss out on garment grids and items or whatever. Mabye check out a guide for getting Lady Luck.

1) Wish the game would auto sync to cloud when connected to the web

2) Is it me or in X you cannot click start then quit to go back to the main menu like you can in X-2?
