Thoughts on the rearranged track guys? So far, it seems to me it's either hit or miss for every single one.

I haven't even gone to Mt. Gagazet yet on FFX-2. Been stuck creature capturing and battling in the tourney for hours.

I got a fucking Tonberry level 20 now, so fucking cute.

Yuna isn't even lv3 yet lol.

They didn't? That sucks, seeing as thats the one that needs it more.

Hit on all except for the boss theme. They could have left the original intact.

Otherworld? I loved that track so much back in the day, well still do. I swear it was the first metalish song I ever heard in a video game (I mostly played RPGs)

It's the original.

Only area themes and battle themes have been rearranged.

Not talking about the one that plays during the Final Aeon fight. That one they kept the original.

I actually like the new rearranged tracks quite a bit. The boss theme is different but I'm getting used to it, love the new Besaid.

Starting my first playthrough. As you guys suggested I'm going without the guide. This is gonna be like reliving my childhood since I don't remember too much from the game outside of the story. Where to go, who to talk to, where items are, what spheres to get... it's gonna be like playing the game again for the first time and I'm extremely excited for it.

There are 4 permanently missable al bhed primers. If you care about that. Otherwise, have fun. Just hit calm lands and spent hours doing both chocobo mini games. Jesus so hard. I'm looking forward to going back and capturing all enemies.

yeah i noticed the loading screens are pretty long on the vita version on top of being as numerous as they were in the PS2 one. kinda bleh, but eeeh, something I can get over.

anyone notice that level geometry feels uh... "sticky"? if you've noticed it you know what I'm talking about. pretty sure it wasn't like that in the PS2 version unless i'm misremembering, it's been so very long since I've played it and all.

Hmm I probably haven't noticed. But I noticed a fuck ton of low res textures used in areas that were otherwise high res on the original lol. I think the "HD" part only applies to the obviously high poly count characters.

I think you should replay the original then because I haven't seen low res textures where they shouldn't be.
