My PS3 broke right after I bought X/X-2, so I'm happy-ish... Never got to play through it again...

only started playing the ps3 one recently and have to put it off for a while.. will be nice if the next time i play is on PS4 and i can transfer the saves :D

A PC version of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster has been listed by Amazon.fr. The online shopping website is indicating a release date set for the 25th of March.

Can finally mod FFX if that's true. Now if only 15 years later they can get FFIX on the PC.

15 years later, I guarantee one of the first mods released will be nude Yuna/Lulu/Rikku mods.

Newegg has PS4 version preorder for $43 with promo. Idk if I should buy or hold out for PC version

Sadly the cynic in me reads this as:

"The people we outsourced it to used yet another fucked up model format, so those of you who like to do renders or anything will have to take a few years to figure out their non-standard graphical format..nevermind for modding on the PC verrsion."

Man I would be so stoked with a PC release announcement. Wouldn't have to ever download the Int. ISO anymore if I want to play the game.

Amazon France has put up a listing that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be coming out to the PC.

The listing says Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be compatible on Windows 7 and Windows 8 platforms. Koch Media has been noted as the game’s distributor. This is the same company that distributed Square Enix games in Europe in the past.

Oh so did y'all see this? PS4 version does indeed have better graphics and redone models/textures compared to PS3. FFX/X-2 Fully HD edition confirmed. Save transfers are done from the start menu the same way the Vita/PS3 versions work. PS3 then PS4 image posted, also please understand the small image size since this is from a japanese site and they do not understand what a .png or image above 500p is.

If they give wakka permanent CGI face and make all of the generic npcs not have poopface then i'd be glad to get this again. I haven't done the free sphere grid for X and I'd like to max out all the jobs in X-2 (fuck everything that isn't the job system).

Reminds me how fun X-2's fights were. Story was bad. But god the system was fun as hell. That and Rikku.

appears to just be sharper and more shadows. but still does look better. probably less noticeable if the image was bigger lol

I don't know why I even resist at this point; I just buy anything they put out at this point. I don't even have a fucking PS4 and I bought the Type-0 HD CE and now I'm going to be doubling dipping on this even though I bought the $80 CE for PS3 last year.

Square Enix; I wish I could quit you. ;_;

EDIT: Not side by side but the SE shop site has higher res versions of the above screens and even more, I can't believe I'm seriously going to buy this. . .

I'd say SE should send you a cake or something as a token of appreciation, but they don't even have to do that to get all your cash,so nvm.

I'm torn on PS4 or PC for this.

PC version means I can play with headphones on or play while at work. PS4 version means I can play on a 70 inch TV.
