The reason why i would rebuy it on PS4, is that my PS3 has no playtime lately and I dunno how long it will live. While PS4 is still fairly new and all

Anything to make me never have to touch my ps3 again. Awful OS, store, and controller. I can't stand to use it anymore.
60 fps or bust
Um, isn't the PS3 version already 60 fps (I honestly don't know, I played on the Vita)? Not that it would actually matter since it's still running off a base 30 fps game so doubling the frame rate would accomplish nothing if the animations aren't scaled to match the higher rate.
It's 30. I'll take an increase in the frame-rate over a few shinies any day of the week. After having gamed at 60+ fps on PC for such a long time, it's harsh going back to anything less. /pcmasterrace off
My PC goes thru a 120hz monitor, so I know all about loving high frame rates. But it doesn't matter for a game of this style, and like I said, if the animations aren't adjusted it honestly doesn't make a difference in the frame rate is increased. Dragon Age Inquisition on the PC showcases this alot, because even if you're playing at 60fps or higher, there's alot of animations in the game (random NPC movements as you walk thru towns and whatnot) that were tuned for 30. Running the frame rate higher does nothing for these.
The camera moving around the environment would look smoother, but actual animations would likely see no tangible improvement from a frame rate increase. And considering this is little more then a cash grab from SE, I would not expect them to put any real work into this aside from what we've seen of some higher res shadows and some AF/AA.
I've never gotten around to playing FFX beyond the original release so I'm super hyped to do the remaster for the first time.
Still haven't played X2 and my ps3 went kaput before I was able to finish X remaster.
I played X-2 when it first came out. I think I got an hour maybe two into it. I thought to myself... WTF is this shit. I took that shit right back to gamestop and never looked back for years. I always did wonder if it got better in any way. But that singing dancing shit right out of the gate really turned me off to the whole game.
Normally I can give bad games at least 5 or more hours over a period of time. I couldn't get past 2 hours the day I bought it. Lol
Just like watching a bad movie, if you accept the ridiculous story and design of X-2 for it is it's pretty enjoyable. After hating it for years I even grew to accept the opening song to the point I keep it in my music collection on my phone.
I wanted to type more but I kept killing Tapatalk.
Final Fantasy X-2 is easily the best FF game (gameplay) and it isn't even close.
The story isn't really any worse than any other FF game and the gameplay more than makes up for it.
Please tell my how the other ones are not terrible.
That's not me being antagonistic or anything, either. I've said this a number of times, but none of the games are great stories. I played them because they were better than the alternatives. It is hard to compare across generations, decades, nostalgia, but I feel like the plots are good at a high level. The implementation leaves a lot to be desired, though.
Crazy clown man pushes the emperor and gains crazy god powers and proceeds to destroy the world.
Sounds fanfic tier to me.
Having played all of 5 seconds of the game. What about the game play is so amazing?
