    I've lived in Philly for a few years, I live in the Northeast so it's a pretty decent area, not very city-like like Center City will be. Look online and you can see a lot of what's going on around the time that you'll be visiting. There's plenty to do, but it all depends on what you're looking for. If you think you might get lost or freak out, or just need some more advice, feel free to PM me.

    Fuck you and your nignorance, Keith.

    As for cheesesteaks, it's hard not, to find a good one. I even know a place that makes incredible vegan or vegetarian steaks.

    Govinda's or even Jim's and Tony Luke's has a veggie cheesesteak. And I know for a fact Citizen's Bank Park has a lot of vegetarian friendly vendors.

    Ah, is this some kind of tradition? Like tossing a coin in the Trevi fountain?

    No, but it'll probably get you 17 kinds of STDs and the black plague. As well as arrested...

    Sorry for bumping an old thread. I'd like to go visit some kind of Amish town when I'm in Philadelphia. Do they let anyone go visit or will they chase me out of town with pitchforks etc?

    Go to DiNic's and get a roast pork sandwich.

    God tier compared to cheesesteaks (of which the only good one is Tony Luke's)

    Other then that you should just go to New York or DC.

    Fuck you Philly.

    Will be going to Philadelphia with a travelling stipend to go to a chemistry conference. Then I thought that since I already got the tickets to america, that I could spend some money to travel around.
    4 days in Philadelphia, one day in DC (heard there were only museums to visit...) and 5 days in New York.

    My friend wants to go see a Broadway Show, but the ticket prices seems to be very expensive. >.<;
    Maybe we'll do something off-broadway instead...
