Or you can cancel and resub in 2013 instead of spending the money between now and then? Unless of course you still get good use out of it.

Oh I do, I have about 260 things in my Instant Queue that I want to watch or do watch when I am at work. I really am considering dropping the disc plan though, or dropping it down to less out at a time. Just waiting to see if we are getting any Quikster updates anytime soon.

Well, canceled my disk rental and went with just streaming last night. Mostly due to the Qwikster bullshit.

I dropped from 4 & Instant to 2 & Instant today, and upped Gamefly from 2 to 3. Seems like a good trade to me, and I still save a bit of money. =P

I never use streaming and I rarely watch movies at home.. even though I should more often... I just dont have the time. But I have been at 2 at a time & streaming for years. the price hike gave me incentive to stop wasting so much money each month and drop mine down to one-at-a-time w/o streaming. I never cared about the 15$ a month, but it got increased to basically 25$ for me for something I use once in a blue moon.

So... thank you Netflix for enticing me to no longer being lazy and lower my sub

I honestly think thats what it was for so many people for so long lol, chump change at the end of the month. When the price hike hit, everyone saw how little they used and either dropped it or lowered their services to what they actually use, which only lowered revenue for them.

I really dont want to be a stockholder when those q4 numbers hit...lol.

    looool http://blog.netflix.com/2011/10/dvds...etflixcom.html
It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs.

This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster.

While the July price change was necessary, we are now done with price changes.

We’re constantly improving our streaming selection. We’ve recently added hundreds of movies from Paramount, Sony, Universal, Fox, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, MGM and Miramax. Plus, in the last couple of weeks alone, we’ve added over 3,500 TV episodes from ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, USA, E!, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, ABC Family, Discovery Channel, TLC, SyFy, A&E, History, and PBS.

We value our members, and we are committed to making Netflix the best place to get movies & TV shows.

    Thank you.

Yeah, too bad no one cares about netflix anymore. They shot themselves in the foot.

Too little too late, sticking with streaming only now. Mailed back last two DVDs yesterday.

Eh they addressed my main concern(their streaming library), I'll stick with that part but I think my g/f already cancelled our DVD plan.

Meh, thinking I'll cancel my account this month when my card expires. I can't find anything good to watch. Most of what I want to see is DVD only.

Except they are the only game in town. Where else can you rent some old or obscure title?

I went from actually using the streaming to just downloading everything.
