I thought people were going at these shows to see planes crash.
I thought people were going at these shows to see planes crash.
Apparently it was mechanical failure which caused the plane to nose dive and the pilot couldn't pull the plane about in time, so while inverted he pulled on the stick as far back as he could to push the plane away from the crowd.
In short, the guy knew he was going to die and was trying to save as many people as he could.
This is why I dislike planes in general ._.
IF I GOTTA DIE EVERYBODY'S GOTTA DIE
Hoping to see something like this is probably the only reason I would go to a show like this. I probably would be one of the spectators hit though.
Crash at an air show in Martinsburg WVA today too.

wow... i wonder what going on with all these crashes
That video linked up there is sort of confusing because it goes from two planes crossing to an explosion. Guessing one clipped the other or something?
I mean even if he was awake he would have disintegrated in all of .000001 seconds, lol
The Reno air show crash really sucks. My work is right behind the airport and my buddies and I were enjoying watching the planes fly over work that day. It was very sad for the people that did die and a good valiant effort on the pilots part to try to steer away from the crowd probably saved at least some lives. The crash happened about 10 minutes after I left work.
Better vid of the 2nd crash
Still doesn't change the fact that being afraid of flying because you think you're going to crash, outside of it all being in your head, is completely unfounded.
