that's nice.
that's nice.
idk why I didn't post this earlier:

i see the word vag in there so pac definitely suffers from it
I have that, but it typically lasts only 5-10 minutes. First time getting blood drawn was pretty fun, I sat up from the table to get up turned to my mom and started to say something and blacked out doing a nose dive off the table into the counter.
Weird as fuck moment.
A lot of people are overlooking, albeit small, a point made earlier. Manny's naturally the smaller guy than Mayweather and taking a set amount of blood from the both of them will affect the smaller man simply because it's relatively a larger % to them than the bigger man. I doubt any of the people involved in making the decisions will take this into consideration.. but it could be a pretty serious advantage. Boxing is set up to last a long time and a small % advantage can compound over that long a time. This is mostly@the people who have said things like, "so taking blood is a disadvantage for manny but not for mayweather?"
And there is not one reason and one reason only one doesn't want to take a blood test the day of a physical/mental competition. That's a pretty biased answer, lol. From the looks of it manny is some god fearing moron who's superstitious about blood getting taken because of a past loss, and that sucks, but it's the reality. I'd sooner believe a philipino is scared of something like karma or some shit rather than they're taking some serious drugs that can have an effect 24 hours prior to the event AND be undetectable right after.
But speaking to my earlier point about how boxing's designed to help the better fighter as much as possible, he could very well be taking something before every fight that somehow increases his performance, however marginally, for a small amount of time(say, 24 hours). So really.. nobody's going to "win" the argument until more proof is provided for one side or the other.
And that's because you don't know anything about drugs and how they work.
Erythropoietin (EPO), a hormone that stimulates RBC production. While testable traces of artificial EPO disappear from an athlete's body within four days, the hormone's effects are strongest three weeks after injection. Using a different method of blood doping, one that requires no hormones; instead, concentrated red blood cells are transfused directly into the bloodstream a week or less before competition. For reasons of convenience and safety, autologous transfusions, in which the cells are the athlete's own, are reportedly far more common than homologous transfusions, in which the cells belong to someone else with compatible blood. Typically, an athlete has up to four units of blood removed a month or more before competition. Technicians then use a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from this sample; the RBCs are placed in cold storage, only to be reinfused shortly before the big race. The athlete may even use EPO months before an event to boost the number of RBCs in the units of blood that get removed; the EPO will be undetectable by fight night.
And we all know that if Manny did beat Floyd, Floyd would cry fowl anyway and still claim he cheated some how.
Yes, I don't know anything about performance enhancing drugs. But I don't know what EPO has to do with any of this since it is either detectable for 4 days or completely undetectable(unless the non-hormone blood swapping thing is detectable, in which case, it's undetectable by fight night making the 24 hour thing dumb anyhow).
Am I missing something? Idk what you quoted me for anyway - all I said was he's some superstitious nut and I would believe that sooner than that he's taking some drug that's detectable only 24 hours prior to the fight and can increase his performance that night.
Boxer afraid of a little blood loss = pussified shit, no matter how you cut it, slice it, dice it. To pretend otherwise is just being silly. I have no dog in this fight, I don't even watch boxing anymore or really know anything about either fighter... obvious drug user is obvious... anytime someone puts some kind of limit on when they can be drug tested it's not because a little bit of blood loss makes them "weak", that's just a decent (yet faggy) cover up. Wooowheee he's got some of you fooled good though...
Would affect him more because he's smaller... fucking lol... go ahead and pitch the oceanfront property to me.
Is anyone even taking this thread seriously anymore lol?
The roids prolly affect him more cause he's smaller too.
western medicine? what on earth are you even talking about.
No, they're taking a little bit of blood. Blood you're not going to have during the fight. The fight you've been training for months. The months of training that you've had that blood.
You're saying it's a small and negligible amount, and I'm telling you boxing has been designed to last a long time so that the better fighter has more opportunity to showcase their endurance/strength/stamina/etcetc. That small amount makes a big difference when you're fighting for a long time.
