I started watching this show last month and I just now caught up to season 7. Best show ever!

Just saw the first episode and Barney killed me with, "Get ready Cleveland. The last man to screw you this hard then disappear was LeBron James."

Episode was fairly meh.. Didn't really feel anything came out of it.

Also, wasn't Lily's father supposed to be moved out by now?

I didn't care for this episode either. I thought the concept was funny but the execution was a bit awkward. It had some funny moments but it was fairly medicore over all.

Lily and Marshall wanted him to move out and he said two weeks, but at the end of the episode Ted's voice over said that it was actually much longer than two weeks, as they all know now.

This show is getting rather stale for me now, I just hope we find out who the mother is the last episode of the season.

Which hopefully is barney's wedding (as Ted meets her at the wedding anyway). Then one more season from her perspective summing up shit like St. Patrick's day, Ted's first day in the wrong class room etc.

But every time I think it's coming to an end soon, I remember shit like, the guy robin met in the department store with the awful shirt and how Saget said "it's not the end of that story" or whatever. There's more loose ends I just can't think of any others.

I still like the show, but the first 2 to 3 seasons were the best it was gonna get when at least two of them were single, Marshall is my favourite character by far, but I've not been enjoying his story lines with Lily, although the Christmas lights episode was epic.
