my guess is, if season nine is confirmed, eight will end with Barney's wedding, and Barney, with his (possibly) offscreen/uncast until season nine sister, will say "Have you met Ted?" S9 opens with the scene, but with her on camera, And that kids is how I met your mother. But you've listened this long, might as well hear how we got married w/e. If no season nine, then sister is on screen in 8 finale, Have you met ted? reshot clips of her at st patty's day party, his class, roommate thing, etc. And that's how I met your mother, maybe montage leading up to/including wedding, kids, etc. Obviously speculation of course.

Just finished the season finally. I hate Ted with a passion. I love how Robin tells him he needs to stop going after chicks who are married or have major baggage..so what does he do? Goes after a chick with major baggage and issues...and fucking Robin tells him it's a good idea too? THE FUCK?

with the finale i just took it as ted not wanting to be the good guy and finally having a slice of what he wanted

Was Ted ever really the "good" guy? He tried to break up that girl from the dating site who was getting married, he broke up Zoe and the Captain basically, he tried to break up Victoria during the whole washing dishes thing, he dragged pumpkin girl around just because he didn't want to admit they didn't have shit going on. *Shrug* I just hate his character a lot in this series compared to everyone else, even though they do do some stupid shit that wouldn't fly in real life, they are more grounded and not annoying as fuck.
