The bride is probably Robin because I don't see any reason for Nora to want to see Ted just before the wedding. They were never very close. Unless she wants to see him about Robin being Barney's ex-girlfriend.

Also, this show is turning into the Lost of sitcoms. It's getting annoying.

I love HIMYM but its the biggest tease ever. We're going to have to wait another 20 or so episodes to find out who barney's bride is (seriously thinking robin now because she did mention she wouldn't mind having ted as her best man/maid of honour) and with the reintroduction of victoria (aaaaaaghhhh why couldn't she just have stayed in germany!!!!) i just wish they would progress the story a little in terms of getting to who the mother is because we know its not victoria she's too old to have been room mates with the now gay ex-girlfriend of teds and afaik she wasn't in econ-301.

To me the episodes featuring victoria are just going to be like the episode with the shirt, going back to an ex and it going tits up.

First season. He meets her at their friends' wedding (where she was the baker), they say it's only gonna be that night, but then he tracks her down and they start dating. I've heard she was going to be the mother when they weren't sure if they'd get renewed for a second season but then they did so she got an invitation to study at some fancy chef school in Germany. They were gonna try to do the long distance thing, but then Ted found out Robin had feelings for him and almost cheated on Victoria before they broke up.

Great first two episodes I can't wait for next week. Glad Victoria is back, definitely liked her the first time around.

I never understand people who feel like this, there's not much left to tell after he meets the mother. Why do you want the show to end?

Whenever I tell "How I met my husband" stories I don't end the second we met. I continue with the first part of our relationship. Parents usually tell the same story until the time their children are born. This could go on a few years yet. It's becoming annoying with all the teases, which aren't really very funny anymore.

If the mother is Barney's half-sister and the bride wants to see Ted, it's possible that Ted meets the mother in the bride's room because a half-sister could conceivably be a bridesmaid.

All I needed to hear was "Cupcakes" to know about Victoria. As for who the bride is.. who's to say Nora and Ted can't get close before Barney gets married? I do agree. HIMYM is just a giant cocktease.

It gets old seeing Ted go UP and DOWN UP and DOWN. There's a lot to tell after he meets the mother. It's not like, "Hey met your mother, then you guys were born as 14 year olds."

It's probably the writers that have issue going the beyond the concept of "how I met your mother", because I'm pretty sure none of the fan would give a single fuck if the story continued past that.

In the past season each character has had a huge leap forward in terms of development, with the exception of ted.

Lily & Marshal - lost their father(in-law) & are on their way to becoming parents.
Robin - has become the serious journalist that she has always wanted to be.
Barney - learned about & met his father and has come to terms that hes in love with someone besides himself and dislikes his current lifestyle.
Ted - got a job as an architect and got dumped by another girl.

Theres more to the story than just getting to the point where he meets his wife and much more than can go on afterwords in terms of them getting to the point where they realise they want to get married which could potentially be interesting, yet instead the writers are bringing back characters from 2005 and in the same setting where they were initially met no less.
