This went from being one of my favorite shows to annoying as fuck. There's way too much filler and when it continues the storyline they dont make any progress towards beating Samaritan. I feel like I'm watching/reading Bleach all over again with how much filler there is.

First thought.. Damn it, Control! Why didn't you shoot Greer immediately!?

Did anyone catch that it was Caleb Root was interviewing with way back when? Completely missed that part. When he and Finch connected though, that was awesome.

It was a cool idea, and I liked seeing how everything came together to "save" the machine (and omg at Finch's conversation with it), but at the same time, it felt like it got resolved a bit too perfectly. Overall, I'd say that was the weakest finale the series has had (partially because the others have been pretty amazing). I'm interested to see if next season picks up immediately (like season 2 did) or if there'll be a break between it.

ok so at the end, when they're using the laptops to compress the machine and transfer it to ram chips... i assume that case is battery powered? because data on ram chips clears when the power goes off. i wonder if that will be a plot point next season, keeping that case powered until they can rebuild.

wasn't finished watching yet, it clearly shows its a powered case. i wonder for how long though.

If I'm not mistaken, it's powered by the battery from the night vision goggles -- the one that recharges by movement.

Have a hard time believing that battery can keep all those chips running, but whatever..

Of the 10 returning scripted series renewed by CBS today, only one, Person of Interest, is not owned by the network. (It comes from Warner Bros. TV.) It was the lone series to get a partial order, which I hear is for 13 episodes.

The difference is that the other shows are owned by the network and make millions for the company via off-network syndication deals.

This is just one of the harsh realities of vertical integration that independent studios have to deal with these days, with money-making series assured a long life if they are owned by a network but if they are not, they face an uncertain fate.
