There's another break coming before the end of the season, I figure, if they plan to end in May since there's only 8 episodes left.
I've skipped 2 out of the last 3 episodes shown and I only watched one of them because it was one of their comedy episodes. They need to do something to keep people watching, fans are starting to give up on this show. I personally am waiting forto come back.Spoiler: show
Sh*t, I take it back. I take it all back. Starting mid-season 2 the story gets better than /random ghost of the week. In fact, they start a pretty epic story arc and I have burned through up to season 5 in a week on Netflix. What I really like about the show (that many may not) is that they take a break from the intense story about every 3rd episode to do a comedy that often makes fun of the show itself.
So, after discovering the show a couple weeks ago and thinking little of it, I am now a fan and I am not surprised at all that it is surviving on a barely not cable network on a Friday night.
Just thinking, though, that the ratings would probably be better if more people knew that the show was about a lot more than ghost hunters as I thought for the past 6 years..
I personally thought the "monster of the week" episodes of the first few seasons were a lot better than what we get now. The Yellow Eyed Demon was clearly the antagonist during the first two seasons, but most of the episodes were good hunting episodes where we saw cool monsters and there was a random hot chick of the week to save. Also, they didn't just run to Bobby every freakin time there was a hunt, they actually did the fucking legwork themselves.
oh how I miss her =(

opposite for me season 4 sucked hard with sam being such an idiot the whole time.
I hated Gen as Ruby, would much rather they have kept Katie Cassidy but I guess she wanted too much money or something and the CW replaced her.
yeah me too. i was in love with katie cassidy.
Getting into season 6 on netflix now. Was the show supposed to end with season 5? Season 6 feels like they are scrambling for excuses to keep going and Dean's heart-to-heart "I don't know who you are/I can't trust you" followed by "you're a grown man/I trust you" is getting really old seeing as how they have been going through the same cycle since season 2 at least twice a season...
Still a good show, but it's almost like it should have ended after s5.
it was planned as a five year show, and personally i think would have ended with dean and sam both being vessels and locked in the pit, but that's just me
I would have loved it if Dean had become Michael, even temporarily.

The Dungeon Master has orchestrated a fun adventure for Supernatural. Geek worlds collide in an upcoming episode when someone from the Whedonverse gets mixed up with the Winchester brothers.
Executive producer Sera Gamble tells TVGuide.com exclusively that Felicia Day will guest-star on the April 27 episode titled "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo." "We were so stoked that she agreed to do the episode because we're all fan girls and boys here," Gamble says.
Also reminder, tonight is new episode.
lol wtf was that.
Spoiler: show
I think its more or less them trying to untaint their food. Like humans try to keep cows happy and stress free so when they are finally slaughtered it gives a much tender cut of meat.
Maybe the Leviathans are playing the V card and trying to reveal themselves to be benevolent, while hiding their sinister side from the humans they prey on.
