how is it that leviathan can kill angels so easily?
how is it that leviathan can kill angels so easily?
They are older, one of the first things made according to the lore last season, before Angels.
In all fairness Angels die when they are poked with sharp aluminum. But yeah Leviathans are the weakest enemies of the series imo. Clowns would've been a better threat.
There was a scene in season 6 when Dean tries to stick an angel and the angel just kind of teleports behind him and say "You can't win a knife fight with an angel", and that was the last time a non-angel tried to kill an angel <.< In season 5 the angels said they were losing people while the demons were trying to break the seals, but it was sorta implied later on that other angels were the ones doing the killing. Have any angels been killed before now by non-angels?
I really don't think so. And yeah, it was Uriel and others who were killing their fellow angels. I don't think that it was ever the demons who were doing the angel killing. But now Meg can kill them with the pointy stick, and Leviathans can just fucking chi blast them to death so whatever.
Leviathans are such bad designed villains... They were introduced as some sort of Ancient Ones, eternal evil that God banishes in Purgatory and all that stuff. And then, they're just shapeshifting dudes that can eat a person.
They don't possess any kind of magic (in a world were warlocks and witches exist), they dont teleport or do any angel-level stuff (time travel, illusions, etc), they even lack demonic telekinesis or anything like that.
Yeah, they're "immortal", except that a house cleaner product has them in pain, or you can chop off any of their limbs, or decapidate them and have them enjoy an eternity of being buried alive.
