    CCTV/Camera Software

So people having been stealing shit off our patio for the past few weeks.

Installed some infra-red cameras, basic free cctv software (trial mode :/) and signs and the stealing has stopped since.

Anyways, I've been wanting to set up a dedicated server just for the CCTV network.

I've heard of some software which allows you to access the cameras from any location (Android, Apple IOS, etc.)

Can anyone lead me in the direction for software that provides this?

    Thanks!

All that work for something I already searched for, hurr?

None of those apps I'm looking for particularly. I'm asking for a program which has support from either type of devices via http/IP etc.

Found this program but I've heard a lot of bad things with the actual software itself crashing constantly.

considering what you're asking for now is far more general than what you said in the original post, I donno what you want. First you ask for something with iOS/Android support and now you want general http support.

just set up webcam software that takes snapshots at certain intervals, or motion detection based software and point it at a dropbox folder. There's also software out there to upload the contents of a certain folder to an ftp server which you can access via http.

lots of ways to go about this..
