Awesome avelle, I'm gonna guess you're getting very little sleep tonight man, lol. Btw, what class do you like to race? I'm still trying to tune my r34 for A class, but lets race when I've got it down.

Unfortunately, I have WoW raids later tonight, but I will get 2 or 3 solid hours in after work for sure. I can't say I really have a favorite class. It really depends on the car I guess. I'd say generally I like to play in the A, S, or R3 classes the most. I'm definitely down for some racing when I've had some time to get into the game a bit. I've already got a pretty decent selection of cars just from the Forza 3 import. Feel free to add me though, my gamertag is Nuvas.
Ahh I finally know who nuvas is on my friends list for xbox now lol. I'll race around as well currently tuning my ultimate aero for the mile. Gamertag is Dngnhack.
Im gettin two games this week, I have to choose bewteen Rage, FIFA, and this. Not cool bro.
Ya, I think we exchanged gamertags back when Hot Pursuit came out for the Autolog thing.
The reviews I read for Rage were pretty meh to be honest. I'd definitely make Forza a priority if you're a fan of racing games at all. Also try the demo if you haven't yet!
Forza, Forza, Forza, Forza...
Have I mentioned yet that Autovista is pure automotive pornography? Jesus christ. Unlocked the Reventon last night and started it up and the car sounds so sick. The dashboard is crazy cool too. Going to have to save up the 2million credits asap... Still driving around in D class shitboxes, but it's fun regardless!

Few comments about this game:
1. Love love loving the tracks. I skipped Forza 3 and so the last one I played was Forza 2. Laguna Seca and that one in Japan were some nice throwbacks for the first few races, but I was eager to plow through those and get to some of the other levels since I'd played those other tracks so many times already. Love the new tracks, incredible realism, lighting is stunning, it's just awesome.
2. THE AI MESSES UP. Finally, they aren't perfect like in Forza 2. Don't know if they messed up in Forza 3, but it's refreshing to see one of the cars take a turn too hard trying to pass me and spin out into a wall.
3. I'm having so much fun with the crappy E and D class cars which is huge for the beginning of racing games. They're slow but some of them are pretty slick looking, love that you can change the color when you level up and pick a car. Love that you have a choice of cars and you aren't gifted a car. It's a bunch of small changes but it really makes the overall experience more enjoyable.
4. The challenges are perfect for breaking up the race grind. They're perfectly paced, they're fun as hell (bowling was great, favorite so far as probably been racing the "rival" though), and even within the races they mix up a lot of the content, like the multi-class races on the same course. Again, don't know how much of all this was in 3, if any, but it's awesome to see in this latest teration of Forza.
5. I've never been a huge racing sim fan until I played Forza 2, but even then that was pretty casual the way I played it. But now I'm at a point where I want to take it a bit more seriously without dropping $300 on a wheel, since my experience with a wireless controller is starting to leave me wanting a smoother racing experience. Could I get away with the new 360 Speed Wheel they just came out with? Again, I'm not a huge elitist snob about racing wheels because I've never owned one, and I simply have no interest in spending ridiculous amounts of money on a wheel/pedal setup, but I also don't want to drop sixty bones on a speed wheel if it's not going to be an improvement over a standard controller.
6. My gamertag is Ifyouhadoneshot, add me if any of you fuckers want to race online.
The 360 speed wheel is a bad joke.
If you _only_ play on xbox then the 360 wheel ( wired, w/ the desk mount ) is ok, if you want pc/ps3 then the new fanatec is the way to go ( requires like 150-200 dropping on pedals as well though ).
Check this out though:
At work so I'll check the vid out later when I get home, thanks.
Would something like this work?

What I honestly might do is take like six - 9 games I never play anymore and trade them in to gamestop to rack up store credit. I signed up for that powerup card BS they had yesterday and traded in FF13, MGS4, MLB 10 the show, a PS3 controller, naruto ultimate ninja storm, assassin's creed brotherhood, and circle of fire and got 63 bucks after trade-in bonuses. they're running a deal where if you trade in 3 games equalling five bucks total, you get an extra $10 in store credit. Ended up paying 78 cents for Forza 4, lol.
Yeah something like that is probably around the entry range, you'll get "wheel" input but you won't get the snapback, force feedback quality will be very low ( one of the misconceptions I had was lol forcefeeback, rumble on a wheel = gay can't wait to turn that shit off as soon as I get home ), but you can really feel the front or rear sliding on a good wheel , and the pedals will not be amazing.
That said you get wheel input = you get wheel input.
A $150 wheel vs a $500 wheel = will get very similar laptimes but obviously one is much much more enjoyable to use.
One thing most low quality wheels really suffer from is lack of correction, eg you let go of the wheel it won't center like a real wheel would so you have to do that yourself which is a bit disconcerting for the first 10mins to several hours.
The main thing on xbox is you have a lot of garbage wheels, a few entry level wheels and then the fanatecs.
There isn't really much midrange, where as on the ps3 you get the DFGT, and the G27 in between the crap>ridic price wheels.
Gamestop had the 50% bonus trade on all games so traded in my normal edition and picked up the limited collecters today. <3 the bugatti SS, goes well with the F1 and ultimate aero i picked up. Now to race with them more so i can get 100% discount on parts and upgrade them without breaking what little bank i have left. Been sucked into dark souls lately can't wait to finish it and get back to forza.
I almost have enough money to buy the Reventon finally. I don't think it's that great of a car, but it sure is pretty. Are any of you dudes good at custom tuning? I was reading a primer about it on the Forza forums and it looks pretty complicated.
Just wanna let everyone know I hate you all with forza 4, I wish I had money ;_; I just keep playing that demo, goddamn so fun
Naw, I did love GT like the rest of you but Forza was always more fun than GT, For me, Forza is the real car sim because it has cars I REALLY want to drive, unlike GT which has tons of the same type of car over and over and shit no one asked for like the Ford Model T, Seriously who asked for that?
But I have no moneys for Forza and if I had money It'd be going into my phone bill ;_;
Spoiler: show
Finally bought the Reventon I was saving up for. Picture came out a bit darker than I had wanted, though that may just be my shitty work monitor.
So if I import my Forza 3 save, can I delete my F4 save then reload it incase I want to go back to F3 and buy more cars to start with in F4?
