Game is boss as fuck. It does not suffer from the EA sequel curse
dumb question because I always feel derpy with probabilities.
when your at the bench and press y you can buy different resource packs (with ration seals or RL money)
there is 1 for 30 seals that has 1 Mk V weapon part, and a 50% chance of a bonus. Plus x amount of various resources.
there is 1 for 60 seals that has 2 Mk V parts, and a 50% chance of bonus part. Plus 2x amount of resources.
in my head, and what I'm not sure if I'm derping on: if I buy 2 of the 30 seal packs, I have a 25% chance of no bonus part, a 50% chance of 1 bonus part (breaking even with the 60 seal pack) and a 25% chance of 2 bonus parts. Therefore buying 2 of the 30 seal packs has a 75% chance of being the same as, or better than, the 60 seal pack, and a 25% chance of being worse. Is that accurate or am I being retarded?
yes to both, it's accurate, and you're retarded
Anyone wanna bro-op? Got a few hours before work.
So, now that people have played a bit is the game worth 60 beans, or wait for a price drop?
I've definitely paid full price for much worse games. I'm biased since it's my favorite franchise, but I'm enjoying it greatly so far.
Worth $60; not worth paying the price of the game all over again for DLC crap, however. Playing co-op on hard, there hasn't been a single time when things were so bad I ever said "man, my gun isn't powerful enough!" and the suits are superfluous in this one.
To be fair you made like a rocket-lauching gunblade, there's not a lot that won't make double-dead.
Yeah, I do have to give props to the weapon crafting; while it has downsides, there's also some fantastic things you can do if you are creative. The option to use modules for things like explosives, as well as deadlier, empowered melee attacks is really fun. Running through with one of us using a precision weapon and another with a heavy room-clearing weapon like shotgun, force gun, etc., was pretty exciting.
Kinda moot since I already ordered the game, but I was wondering if there were more boss fights this time around as boss fights r gud and Dead Space 2 was a little underwhelming in that department.
Hey, I have a question (hopefully won't get any spoilers while coming in here).
My husband wants to do something that I'm not sure will work (I remember having issues doing something similar with Fat Princess, but he thinks I am remembering it wrong, which is possible as I have a terrible memory).
He wants to buy a digital copy of DS3 and then the online pass. Install the game on both our ps3s so we can do the multiplayer together. I remember having issues that when the ps3s would connect to the network they would see the same IP listed twice and kick one of us off. He thinks that is game-specific.
Either way, I wanted to see if anyone has (or knows someone who has) done this for DS3 so we can know if it'll work before spending the money (since can't return a digital copy).
Probably game specific. Callisto is commonly online with both of his PS3's, one for games, the other for Netflix.
I think it has to do with the psn network and seeing the same game, so idk if that's a good example since those are two different things.
For sure we both remember that we couldn't do civilization at all with it.
Regardless, want to see first if people did it with DS3 or not.
