Right pocket: bi-fold wallet (contents: $50-120 dollars and 5ish cards) and my three keys
Left pocket: iPhone and gum
Putting anything in back pockets feels awkward to me.
left: phone
right: wallet
shirt pocket: keys
My bank refunds all ATM transactions, so if there is a need for cash, I walk up to any ATM I wish and get paid with no consequences. Cards are just so much more convenient.
I used to be a back pocket man until I got picked at an airport, will NEVER go back.
$500 dolla phone peeps, why not spend like 20 more to get em scratch proofed? safeguard or w /e shit they got in those mall vendors, not trying to make you guys fronties but shouldnt that be a decent investment anyways?
You know, I have always rolled my eyes at those commercials where someone paying with cash halts the smooth rhythm of customers using cards like pulling a needle off a record... because of the inconsistency of businesses requiring ID and signatures, I have found cash to always be faster to deal with.
Until I never have to sign anything or pull another card out of my wallet, or wait for a shitty slow waitress to come pick my card up, I will always prefer cashmoneys.
Anyhow. Wallets.
I always think about getting picked, though. It's worth the risk to not have a wallet in my front pocket. Eff that shit, feels retarded.
Japan is pretty much cash only, so running the clip in the front pocket is the only way to go. Take public transit when going out, so no need for anything but a single house key. Clip and single key in 1 pocket, phone in the other. That's all I need. Can't stand anything in my back pocket or if my front bulges. Prefer winter, so I can just throw all that shit in my inside coat pocket and carry nothing in my pants.
I use this when I go cycling. Pretty useful. http://www.thejimi.com/index.php
My wallet doesn't even have a brand, I got it for a dollar at the dollar tree 8 years ago, lasted me till then still looks brand new and is PERFECTLY worn in leather. Bends perfect, easy feel, black. Love it.
I'm with team WBRPFLKFR (Wallet Back Right, Phone Front Left, Keys Front Right). I also carry cigs, lighter and mints in the front right pocket and a pack of tissues in my left back pocket.
Keys, lighter and cash in left front pocket, phone and smokes in right front pocket (unless it's summer, in which case cigs are in left cargo pocket), wallet in back left. Southpaw baby.
Been that way for so long that if I am trashed and accidentally put something in the wrong pocket, I'll wake up the next morning and frantically search the house for a half hour before thinking to check the other pockets.
As for wallet advice... dunno, I've been rocking the same piece of shit Mossimo wallet for about 14 years.
I made my wallet from packaging tape.
+1
There's no need for cash where I live. I'd only consider using it if I go abroad to some backwater country.
I do have a wallet for cash though, it's just too fucking massive. Actually got my card wallet as a gift from the bank I worked for, and they don't simply hand them out to anyone, so that's pretty boss.
Aluminum water-proof wallet in front right, phone and keys in front left (with otterbox case on phone). I work outside rain or shine and with elephants who love to play in the water, so everything I own is waterproof.
Recently bought a Fred Perry wallet. Personally think a changed pocket is needed but i have friends who differ. Only issue i could say about it is that its a little to big. Only risk you run when buying it online, it may struggle to fit into some of your jeans pockets.
Aluminum all day erryday. Shits indefuckingstructible
