I recognised his voice from Fringe.
Spoiler: show
This series is definitely taking some twists and turns that I did not expect. Woot! Keeping me on my toes~
I like the addition of Papa Legba, I hope for more supernatural characters like him to appear. At least we get him for 3 more episodes according to IMDB.Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
The tone of that episode felt so different than previous episodes... I felt like it was the most insane hour of the whole season (which is good)
The chaos is building and everything is falling apart.
Weird episode O.o
Spoiler: show
great stuff. is the next episode the season finale?
2 more episodes left.
also, there was/is easter eggs in these last episodes on what season 4 will be. didn't really pick anything out this past episode but I'm an idiot when it comes to that typea thing.
Find me those eggs!!!!
This season has been shit. Way too many storylines, way too many characters that they can't manage, so they resort to killing/reviving random characters to get them off screen a few episodes. Everything is disjointed and the writing is all over the place. I had a lot of hope for this season, but it's far too disjointed.
Watch out, somebody might think you're describing season 2.
Yeah...
I have to agree, though. There are a couple characters they could do without. Kyle being the main one that sticks out. Misty and Madison are kind of on again, off again for me as well. They were obviously the main focus of the "Supreme hunt," but neither one really developed into anything. Nan and Queenie were supporting characters from the get go.
I don't think we need to go too far into the witch hunters past or development because we have a general idea of how and why it started based on American history. What I would have liked to see was more screen time for the actual Supreme (i.e. Zoe) and see more development of her powers. If they added 4 more episodes or cut out some of the unneeded stuff they could have done with a lot more meaningful development.
yeah I will agree that Kyle has been an absolute waste this season
It's really too bad, he was quite good playing Tate in S1
I think they just gave him a small role to keep him around. He's been good in the previous two seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if he got other job offers.
Remove the rape/Kyle thing, get rid of the whole baby thing with Cordelia and Hank, and maybe something else? That'd be another 2-3 episodes.
When I look back at it, the "too many storylines" criticism has merit, but it hasn't taken away from my enjoyment of the season. It definitely could have been cleaned up to be a much tighter and more focused story, like season one.
Poor Nan, the only witch on the show to die and stay dead. Although, she might be coming back in one of the next two episodes. Papa Legba is back, and Ryan Murphy says that Queenie learns to travel to hell and back, meaning she might resurrect Nan's soul or figure out a way to get Papa Legba to return it (exchange it for that baby Sterling has now like how it was supposed to be).
We also see Queenie rescue Misty in the preview with the help of Cordelia's second sight. But it’s Papa Legba who Queenie demonstrates her newest power to: the power to descend into Hell, and to return.
