You have any idea what iirc means? The first word is the most important one.

That didn't sound right, because guess what, I watched the game too. Watched those INTs again just to make sure. Only 1 was deflected (not tipped) and that came off Dareus' helmet, so it was a shitty throw from the get go.

When people excuse QBs from INTs because it's tipped, it's because it's tipped by their receiver, not someone on defense.

Btw, shoulda woulda coulda doesn't mean much. You get 1 chance on Sunday, that's it.

I don't think Buffalo was dense enough to think that they could completely shut down that offense, but I do believe they planned to make Brady force some throws he didn't want to force. You call the 4 picks an anomaly, which is true, but don't be so clueless to think that Buffalo didn't force some of those issues.

there were 2 tipped INT. you can argue semantics all you want, but one was at the line, and the other was edelmen (I believe) at the end of the first half, tipping the ball right over his head to the DB.

The only argument I was trying to make was that the bills gave no sort of blueprint. I mean, if the blueprint is "score a fuck ton of point and hope brady throws 4 INT," I think the league is pretty much fucked

    go look at the INT...

I can't believe I have to keep saying this. 3 of those INT should not have been. It wasn't because he was forcing the ball, it was because a) a receiver fucked up and tipped the ball to the DB behind him b) ocho quit on a route (stfu heady) and c) shit got tipped at the line.

If those are the definition of forcing, sure...but it really honestly looks like most of you watched like 4 snaps of the game or saw postgame highlights and then tried to dissect the game. Buffalo shut down nothing, they just got a few nice bounces and scored points like everyone else does against our swiss cheese defense. The offense was fine

I honestly don't understand the treatment of Tony Romo, who is being praised on par with Chuck Norris and George Zimmer. Call me when you grow a kick-ass beard, Tony. First of all, 22-for-36, 0 TDs and 1 INT just isn't that impressive. And more importantly, if your injury is a bigger story than your performance, you shouldn't be on the fucking field. Detroit came out flat in Minny, but still clawed their way to a win. Lots of guys missed practice today, including Calvin, Fairley, and Vanden Bosch. Still, they're in better shape than Dallas, who will likely be without number one receiver* Miles Austin, along with the walking wounded on the field.
So you criticize his performance and admit he had no one to throw the ball to in the same sentence, sounds good. He drove them down the field for the game winning score the last 2 games, that's the only stat that matters. His injury is only a big deal because it's the Cowboys, they haven't said shit about it since the day after and neither has Romo - thank the national media. Good or bad anything he does is going to be on every news site.

Yeah, you're right about that one. Was left out of the highlights.

So Brady was responsible for 3. He got fooled on 2 and threw a turd on 1.

Protip: fumbles lost are turnovers. I'm talking about turning over the Patriots. All you're talking about is last week's INTs and how unlucky that was. I'm saying they've been extremely lucky over their last 19 regular season games.

Demo, I am disappoint. Usually it's the Dallas fans that rage at me. You're better than this.

why are you trying so hard to say the bills played some grand scheme on defense that fooled brady. He throw for almost 400 yards and a very good completion %. Those INT to ocho and gronk were not brady being fooled. Ocho quit on a route and let the DB make a play on the ball (how is this being fooled? ) and one was a very underthrown ball to gronk (how is this being fooled ).

Go watch some postgame conferences and interviews. Brady and Bill both acknowledged it wasn't scheme, but hard play that got the bills a few plays. The jets fool tom brady, and that has pretty much been it the last years

how is ball security luck...Look at our fumbles vs fumbles lost since beginning of last year. you are making yourself look REALLY fucking dumb right now lol

our ratio to fumbles / fumbles lost are actually slightly worse than the rest of the nfl...

In all my years of watching football, rarely if ever have I seen a coach or QB admit that the opposing teams schemes confused them. There's not many coaches who admit they were outcoached. What did you expect BB to say?

I wasn't actually. You just threw me in with everyone else while you were derpin and I had to have a lil' fun with it. You really are going into Cowgirl territory.

He did shred their defense aside from the INTs.

Of course, that's like saying they would have won if they hadn't lost.

bill won't but tom always will

"they did a great job of disguising looks, and I misread coverage a few times"

the pretty much only says this against the jets, the only team that he is ever viably confused

Again, the only thing I'm saying is 48/50 games, tom doesnt throw 4 INT. The bills won that game because tom threw 4 INT. ergo, the bills didn't create a blueprint, they played hard and capitalized on a few bounces.

It's one thing to have ball security. The Patriots are good at that. It's another to be lucky. Last year they put the ball on the ground 9 times, the NFL average was around 23. That's both good and lucky.

C'mon, you're a baseball guy. You know about BABIP and FIP and regression to the mean and luck. There aren't really the same types of advanced metrics in football but if you want to maintain that when they don't commit turnovers it's because they're good, and when they do it's unlucky, then go ahead.

Yeah, you're probably right. I didn't see either tipped INT. They didn't show any of Tom Brady's 4 INTs on every highlight reel on a loop on every sports show for 4 days straight after that.

I saw both tipped INTs. Neither were good throws.

They have televisions in California bro.

Protip - if you hit a D-lineman in the helmet, it's a shit throw 100% of the time.
