If you think it is possible to have a top 10 QB ready in 2 years, not to mention drafting in the middle of the pack rather than early, then you are crazy.

Name a top 10 Qb developed in the past 2 years. Can't think of one? Me neither. Who's the youngest and the best right now? Stafford? He's not quite there yet and it's been 3 years. No team has a safety blanket quite like megatron either. Flacco? Mediocre to below average, Sanchez? Don't make me laugh. Cam? He's been ok but no where near top 10, we'll see in a couple years.

They aren't going to be in position to draft a good rookie QB. The Lucks, Bradfords, and Staffords of the world don't make it to the backend of the first round. They would have to get lucky, sort of like they did with Romo.

Romo has had 4 or 5 really bad games where he lost his team the game, 2 of them just happened to be in the first 4 games of this season (after he was out for a year, don't forget). What about the 11 4th quarter comebacks or the 10 game winning drives, or the 40 wins over the last 5 years? You don't just get rid of that and pray you can draft a good QB.

Theres 20 teams out there that are searching for a franchise QB, it's not easy to find.

Ofcourse he's the reason we're in the game. I think you are giving him too much credit when he does something positive and not enough blame when he does something negative. You aren't weighing it properly. He can make a million mistakes, but if he make some positive plays, then ofcourse he's "keeping us in the game" but that doesn't take away the fact that his mistake are costing us the game. I don't know about you, but I rather win games than just be "keeping" in them. His record easily shows that he is giving away more games than he is winning. Like many Cowboy fans, you enjoy living in the past when you want to talk about his record 2 years ago. Cowboys are 2-2. Romo won one, Bailey won one. Romo lost two. Yes, he has given up more games than he has won.

Fine, if you don't want to talk about the past. Romo only lost both of those games because he put us in the position to win in the first place. Unless it was a top ten QB on the team, there's no way we win those games.
