Do you read your posts before you hit enter? You just turned from saying that a kicker won the game (not saying he didn't) and that Romo had no part in it, to thinking we are making excuses for him or something.

    You dumb?

Not spoilering this one cuz of the name drop
While Chad Henne gets second opinions on a potentially serious left shoulder injury, the Miami Dolphins worked out two quarterbacks Tuesday -- Trent Edwards and Brodie Croyle, according to a source.

Another source said the Dolphins contacted veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme, but he declined the invitation to make a visit or to potentially sign.

Another candidate at the outset was David Garrard, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Garrard's agent told the Palm Beach Post that his client wasn't signing with Miami.

"David was not interested in what was presented to him by Miami," the agent told the newspaper.

Henne suffered what is believed to be a separated left shoulder against the San Diego Chargers in Week 4 and there is concern the injury could end his season. The Dolphins are on a bye week and don't have to know Henne's status until next week.

Matt Moore replaced Henne in Sunday's game at San Diego and immediately drove the Dolphins to their only touchdown. He finished 17 for 26 for 167 yards and had several passes dropped.

Moore went 1-4 as a starter last season for woeful Carolina. If he gets the call against the New York Jets on "Monday Night Football" on Oct. 17, he would become the 16th starter at quarterback in the 13 seasons since Dan Marino retired.
Colts Guard banned 4 games for PED
    Spoiler: show
The NFL has suspended Colts guard Jaimie Thomas for four games for violating the anabolic steroids and related substances policy.

Thomas is on injured reserve. The league and the Colts did not say what prohibited substance he tested positive for.

Thomas was a seventh-round selection by the Colts in the 2009 draft and played in eight games with Indianapolis in 2010. He was placed on IR on Aug. 19 this year with a back injury.

Sounds like that's what you two doing. Bailey won us the game. Stop over inflating Romo's contribution. Yes, he's a QB, ofcourse he go us into position to get to that place on the field. He has to hand the ball off and make throws. He's a quarterback. But he did not win us that game. Period.

Regardless, the only position a W/L record is attributed to is the QB. His team beat WAS, Romo beat WAS, Miles Austin beat WAS, Garrett beat WAS. I didn't over inflate anything, I said he contributed to the win. In the post you quoted, I even said "not saying he didn't". Cmon man. That's like Welker talking shit to the Jets because they lost to the Steelers last year in the AFC championship game. It makes you look like an attention whoring faggot.

    Essentially my feelings. http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/cowbo...re-out-of-line

Also, thought this was a good article, mostly for Manowarr I guess or Valisk.

That's exactly what Man0warr is saying, he's making excuses about WR corps messing up assignments (because you got non-starters out there) you and him have been talking about how the Cowboys haven't had WRs ever since Austin went down. It's part of the reason everyone called Romo a hero cause Austin is gone as if other teams don't get plagued with injuries. The 49ers faced the Cowboys without Crabtree and most of the game without Edwards but you didn't hear 1 person (or the media) talk about it because shit happens and it's part of the game.

I don't recall saying anything about not having WRs, actually. I said something about Ogletree being bad because well... he was bad. The particular instance that the media is calling him a "hero" was in the washington game. The fucking WRs didn't know where to line up or which routes to run, and he still moved the ball. It's not about having back ups come in and playing with them, it's about having back ups that have no idea what the fuck they're doing coming in. Our WR Corp was bad that day, I'm not saying it as an excuse I'm saying it as a fact.

Again I think Cooley came off bad in the interview but keep in mind he was asked about the Cowboys game and Romo in the interview you have to kind of keep things in perspective, I don't think your comparison of WW and PIT is that similar. He could have answered differently and probably should have I just don't think questioning Cooleys performance this year has much to do with it. What if he retired tomorrow, he wouldn't be able to talk about it if he was asked? He's a pretty good player, he's had a decent career he's not amazing by any means but he's got just as much right as any other asshole to air his opinion.

Just to shed some light on this, Miami wasn't willing to offer Garrard or Delhomme any guaranteed money, hence the declination. I'm kind of excited, we wouldn't have won the suck for luck sweepstakes with Henne playing as well as he was. Now, there's a chance!

lol fillintheblank 2.0 it's happened so much that's why it made so much sense to stop paying these rookies ridiculous amounts how many QBs were lined up to be great draft picks in the past 5 years and have just sucked it up, got traded, put on the bench or straight up cut

So why are you up in arms if you agree with me? I already said I was laughing at cooley and nothing other than that.

Well when your top two WR are hurt, the 5th string is normally in on 3 WR sets... so yeah.

I'm retarded but you don't know the definition of implying?

Edit: And what I quoted was the entire post. So yes that post IMPLIED Romo did all the work. Despite what you decided to clarify in a later post. Even though your "clarification" was backpedaling from IMPLYING he did all the work to explicitly saying he contributed.

    Don't understand the capitalized words?

    Look it up.

I said what you think I implied, not what I actually implied (which was later clarified in a statement, explicitly).

the article you posted didn't mention that he's only had X number of catches this year or talk shit about his performance this year. I agree with what the article said for the most part and you agree with what the article said. I haven't changed what I've been saying since the beginning. What I've been trying to put into perspective was that he did have a right to answer the question, he was asked about it in an interview because Romo is in the spotlight for "choking", Romo is pretty much always going to be in the spotlight it comes with the territory. The thing I agree with you on is that he came off as a dbag in how he answered the question and he should have answered it differently.

Cam still has a lot to do. I read or heard somewhere that over 70% of the snaps are taken from shotgun. In which case, he'll forever be a great fantasy QB on a losing team. I looked for his "under center" stats, but came up empty. 1st round QB busts aren't really that big of a deal anymore though, you don't lose $60 million signing them,
