One will always be greater then the other. In this case group EXP. There has to be a good reason to do group exp because it takes longer to set up. Solo leves are for people w/o time or crafters and gatherers.
If leve solo was better then grouping there would be no point in them even doing group SP. Everyone would just solo.
Best thing about this patch is my Lodestone pic http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...cicuid=1362424
Is it just me or is the UI alot quicker?
dude....don't bring the official forums here.
Has anyone found out if Company related quests ( those that were added in 1.19) can be done before joining, or are they only active only once a player has become Private Third Class?
Would be nice to farm some more seals first, grab a few items and then join the one company of choice.
What's the word on the level 15 non-instanced dungeon? Do you need any items or whatever to get in?
Nope, but I hear there's a quest in LL related to it, so might as well grab it before you go.
Working on my first set of materia atm. It's already confirmed that the amount needed scales with level I guess. At this rate it will probably take me from lvl1 to somewhere around 15 for the spiritbond to be completed. Playing some other classes now though.
Fighting mobs maybe 3-5 levels lower nets me the best exp right now. Respawns are fast and fights as well, the camps are pretty clear.
It's just a big Cassiopeia-style cave with 2 roaming NMs, 1 condition-pop NM, and a ton of different chests that you need dropped keys for. I don't think anything that is found in the zone is untradable. I think a few of the chests actually need keys found in other chests. Was roaming around there for a while before I went to bed last night and got:
Some Lv.15-20 random crap gear and weapons, Plundered Moccasins, Pirates Bandana, Plundered Rope Belt, Plundered Cavalier's Hat (hot), Plundered Sabatons, Plundered Leather Belt, and a bunch of random shit materials/food from chests.
You can stack up a shitload of one key in your loot pool, then go open the chest, take a key out of loot, open the chest, take key out of loot, etc. You're bound to get the special "plundered" item in no time that way. (Each chest appears to drop 1 plundered item).
pretty unfinished list:
Giant Remora: Pirate's Bandana
Shearing Sharidan: Plundered Cavalier's Hat
Lone Coeurl: Coeurl's Eye
Bronze: Plundered Rope Belt
Copper:
Brass:
Steel: Rose Gold Key,
Silver: Gold Key, Plundered Sabatons
Mythril: Plunderd Moccasins
Gold:
Electrum:
Rose Gold: Plundered Bliaud
Aaaawwwww yyyeeeaaaahh. Use the direct download a few posts up.
Btw the arrow stats are fixed and since the change to projectile (100% now) theres no need to use Silver Arrows at 50. Blue Coral and Red Coral arrows are both better.
anyone know or figured how to get access to level 50 ifrit fight ? finished level 25 one and no quest poping
Or "party leves", but yeah, it had to changed in the beta...not one year later.
Another thing that pissed the fuck out of me before was doing a long leve with a boss that is much harder than the rest. You struggle for 23min to kills everything, then reach a dead end that is virtually impossible. Same shit with "surprise" attack.
Don't let me start something that I can't complete...wasting half an hour for this kind of shit is simply frustrating.
Kuro, how long is it gonna take for you to make one of those patch videos? think i might just skip logging on this time and play dark souls until skyrim until 1.20
