Wow I didn't even know Hudson was still making games. I had to hit up google to do some research. I guess they have been making the Mario Party games for Nintendo, but they won't be doing Mario Party 9? Well, let's hope this works out for them.

Update – Hudson Soft appears to have announced that this was a hoax. Well, at least they know they had fans. How many remain after this is unknown. Zohair Zahid says that the twitter account this came from was a fake to begin with, and that the real Hudson twitter hasn’t been active for a year.

With the resurgence of the fighting genre in the past year, as well as the fan reaction to this awesome troll job, it would seem like a no-brainer from a business perspective to at least try to milk something out of it, be it releasing a collection, or a new iteration.
