and you know... i'm not as bad as i vent out to be lol. ask my RL friends. im about as soft as a teddy bear, but it's not i'm like pleased with my attitude. im ashamed to have even considered jail, but shit happens, i guess.

here's an update. i had an appointment with a LT who took charge of this case and he actually reassured me the outcome is in my favor based on the evidence we are gathering. although, i cant prove Crook took anything, i can prove he was involved.

i have a recording saying that he had his card with him the entire time, and that he left town and was never on campus all week. the police officer who called him confirmed with him on this detail.

his card was used on the break in on saturday.

and also, i forgot an important detail:
the robbery occurred on saturday, oct 1 between the hours of 7:30pm-1am. my friend chelsea wanted to hang out and came to my door since she lives on the floor beneath me. she saw my MAIN door open, the one needed to open with an ID key, and around 8 pm and saw the latch at a default, locked state, keeping the door open (assuming it was for a quick getaway). i was eating dinner, so when she called me to inform me, i never picked up. she assumed i was downstairs for a few min hanging out with some girls or something and thought i would be right up. thank goodness she didnt go inside while the robbery was occurring. she might've gotten hurt.

well, as long as i get an affidavit on this (which i can easily. she's a good friend), than we have a more specific pin on Crook himself. for once, im actually confident about this. this guy is intimidating to me, and im the victim. i wish i could see how he acts with Crook.

it's going to be a long tedious process. but honestly. i can give 2 craps about my stuff. i dont want anyone else to deal with this guy.

oh, about the personal articles policy insurance, i was told they can typically cover purchases made up to 3 years from the start date of the policy. my wife's pc, which is one of the insured pc's, was bought almost two years ago. she had the receipt still. i don't have my receipt, so photos and an online search of the original purchase price was what i used for mine.

and with not having a deductable, i was told this is smarter then using renter's insurance or homeowners because if you used those, your rate would be affected. With the personal articles policy you don't have to worry about that.

7) i have no concrete evidence linking him to the robbery. legally, that one statement only proves he's a liar. not a thief. the police aren't dumb. they are with me in a sense that they too, know he's not good at covering his tracks. he was very clumsy about various things. i still dont know if he had friends do it with him, but my only hope is that the fingerprints will have some sort of match with anyone having a record if they do run it. But that's all i can see. If anyone see's any loopholes. for the love of God, tell me. i need anything to get my hopes up on this. Right now, i really just want any sort of legal justice. Even if i never get my stuff back again, i NEVER want anyone to have to go through this ever again.

his prints aren't what i was aiming for, but his buddies instead. im assuming he had more than 1 person involved with this. since his card was used over the weekend in order to use the door, his alibi has to be godlike to prove he was in knoxville the entire time. He cannot use the "i came back to get this" excuse because i have it on recording and verified by police a 2nd time that he never left knoxville after he arrived.

i saw him for the 1st time today. and i didnt beat the shit out of him. he didnt seem the least bit concerned, which is good.

i played dumb and told him that the only way the burglars broke in was through a master key, and that there was no security cameras. He thinks RA did it, and has NOOOO clue that the key id's are on a log and his id's are processed through the database.

he asked what was stolen, i told him a lot of stuff. he named it before i said it. "like what? the ps3? TV? uh.. computer?" and played it cool enough for him to act cocky and let him think he got away scot free. the kid had the nerve to ask me if i still had my computer in my room. i never even said it was stolen. he has yet to talk to an investigator, but i told him i kept my shit over at my friend's house.

wish me luck! i did me proud and didnt end up behind bars lol. but when i tried to mess around and tell him "be careful man, make sure you lock your doors" all he said was "yeah yeah yeah".

he said his door was broken into and the only thing stolen was his money he had in his drawer before he went to knoxville for his bday party.
