Yeah I wish I had a stun.... I just tried to throw Cure V/VI and time utsesmi everytime I saw aga4... that usually worked but stun would've been nicer lol. But yeah I think people don't remember what it's like to have 1 source of dmg period... especially ones that don't have empyreans. If they people I had been using for there merc services hadn't of quit I would've just hired them since I could make gil faster I think.

I still stand by claim of the time sink of empyrean to 90 is comparable to relic to 95 and not this huge difference. Especailly for those with only acess to 1-3 accounts. And there is no need to do something to make empyrean harder for relics sake. Especially not so much harder that it makes a single stage much more time consuming or costly than all the relic stages combine. And probably for nothing more than the small visible changes

As to the Relic being faster to 95 than an Emp to 90 comment, if you mean start to finish, then you are obviously doing something wrong. Any Emp you pick will never take as long to get to 90 as a Relic takes to get to 95, unless you assume everyone has 150m gil just collecting dust.

Your post is assuming you use friends to help you farm the empyrean whilst you do dynamis/farm gil for dynamis coins solo. That ignores where the comparison was made saying "concidering solo/2box without any help". Good job on not reading.

Again, the trials starting at 75 for the relic to be 95 aren't that bad and don't take horribly long, that's true. Farming the currency or 130M gil on top of that however -should- take you a little longer than farming an Emp from nothing to 90, even 2/3boxing that Emp weapon. If you farm currency/130M and do relic trials faster than camping the NMs(which really doesn't take more than 3/4 days) and doing the 3 Empyrean trials, there's something wrong.

2 Ebisu Rods as you say, even if you have your bots running you can't say "oh that doesn't count I'm not doing anything". That's still time that goes towards the total, believe it or not.

Lotto NMs are a big time sink, certainly. Mine is only one experience (but I'm pretty sure plenty of others can attest to this here, based on the posts), but I cranked out my Turkey Fists a heck of a lot faster than my Apoc, and I finished the latter comparatively quick as far as relic completion goes.

Either way, while we're sitting here having a pissing contest over whether a relic or Empyrean takes longer, people with mythics are looking from the sidelines and going "Fuck you guys."

Given their interest in redoing Nyzul as 99 content, it wouldn't be surprising if that area too dropped Alexandrite and purses of Alexandrite.

The only thing difficult about a mythic really is the low supply of alexandrite and ampoules if you don't have those already(most people do thankfully). It's really easy to make gil honestly, if I just focused on making gil, 300(or whatever total your mythic will cost pending alexandrite prices)mil in a month or two would definitely be possible.

Dude you are seriously trying too hard to convince an entire forum that a relic takes less time than an Empy, you are not going to convince us specially after making your sobek statements. I have a buddy who is duoing his Almace and I asked him to stand around with his mule and do nothing and after 2hours I had 6 ki's with 1 nin 1 war and 2 whm mules each one controlled by its respected melee, while my friend all he did was claim guku on his 2 characters. Now the War which happens to be my wife, went to change to thf and I stayed NIN, all in all it took 2 hours and 30 min from start to finish to do 6 Sobeks.

From those 6 Sobeks 11 skins dropped, so if we calculate that that's 11.36 hours for a sobek, that is without putting effort into it.

Once again not everyone is walking around with 2 ebisu rods and 100 mill. Average joe vs 2 ebisu rods + 100 mill, who's gonna make a relic faster????????

True enough. My server has an abysmally low alexandrite stock, due to JP hoarding however. I'm happy I took ampoules seriously and took care of it first, real cockblock to others as well.
