Are there any numbers to back this up? Metsu being better than Hi + ODD?

I own both a Yoich + Gand, theyre both situational imo. Yoich generally has more utility just in Namas.

Metsu isn't better, but it's Jin + ODT + 35 Attack + base damage vs. Hi + ODD.

1500 Plates is absolutely ridiculous! SE makes no sense at all, they start off making this game fairly hardcore then go to decently casual (Abyssea) back to and beyond retardedly hardcore lol. It would be nice if they'd make up their minds as to how they want this game to play! :O

SE didn't add much besides that "3 days long" VoidWatch part II event during last update.

They want to keep people busy till they are ready for cap 99 update, and they couldnt find better than that.

Let's face it : without Heavy Metal trials, most people wouldn't even bother with VW in the first place ...

But I agree that 1500 will be a pain considering everyone has an empyrean or 5, and drop rate on pouches is far from great.

For those complaining about the heavy metal plates, you guys are huge whiners who need to stfu. I bet you guys got like 4-5 emps and thought awesome weapons were now something easy to get and are now stuck with the level 90 version and your dreams are destroyed. You should be happy awesome weapons were easy to get so far. Stop being a bitch and either farm the plates or buy them, or you can go farm dyna and get a regular relic. I'm happy they made it hard. Now not every noob on the game will have some amazing weapon, which is the way it should be. All i hear is wah wah wah. Abyssea was too easy, and it is about time they made something relatively hard to get. Also this is an mmorpg, grinds are to be expected.

The increase from 90 to 95 is hardly amazing unless I'm missing something?

No, but the 99 could possibly be amazing and to get a 90 emp is so easy it is embarrassing. It is about time they made part of it hard to separate who actually worked for one. The 99 increase could potentially be a big difference, and if it isn't, then don't do the upgrade and be happy with your weapon.

Yea, I do think it is pathetic that people are bitching about how hard their emp weapons are now. 70% of people who voted said the trial should be cut in half. I think that is quite telling how much abyssea has made everyone a bunch of whiney little pussies about how hard this game is. There is a difference between making fun of people and whining btw. Maybe you should think about it. If you guys want to play WoW, go play WoW.

Considering some 95 emp weapons have already been made, I think the massive amount of whining is unwarranted. Maybe SE didn't want everyone and their mom to have a fully upgraded emp weapon. SE has always had a thing about making the top weapons/gear very exclusive.

Just because someone has a few hundre million gil to throw away to buy every plate on an entire server doesn't prove you right. That's like if someone with that rediculous amount of money bought every relic clearly they are super duper easy. I mean they are pretty easy to get but that makes it seem even more so

I agree, you guys are a bunch of fucking whiners. Empyreans are easy as shit to get to 90 and they shouldn't be the staple of a person that is serious about their job. If you guys cant get 1500 plates go upgrade a relic or something, it would seriously take the same effort if less effort to do.

Anyone good enough to farm a relic in dynamis in under 2 months has the means to be able to buy the 1,500 plates if they so desire. All that remains is to be able to find all those plates, which obviously won't be fast but can be done. There are a ton of ways to get the heavy metal plates. If you want to be silly and actually try to farm all the 1,500 plates yourself, well there is no one that can help you.

pretty much, assuming you are buying the plates for 100k anyways, but i think they're a bit more expensive on most servers

no, actually there are 2 ways: do VNM, or buy them from someone that does. considering the drop rate is complete ass, and that they're going for 200k+ each, well, good fucking luck.
