Yeah those guys have looked like that since 2004 lol.
They aren't very good though, and had the run of the server until 2005. Once NA bots started showing up they started to not camp stuff anymore. I don't remember much of them at all during ToAU
150
300
500
750
1,000
1,500 (Fine the way it is)
Fine like it is but improve the drop rate

could these plates merely be the cockblock for the level 99 versions which would justify so many needed? With the ease of making even a level 90 weapon, several players do have multiple weapons. 1500 pretty much says at most you're gonna have one empyrean weapon at level 95 or higher.
I'm going to hold off judgment for a while.
Oh, and if they do bump up the droprate significantly and don't make alexandrite drop in Nyzul, I'm gonna piss thumbtacks. Now that's one thing in the game that doesn't make sense. Seems the developers of that system enjoyed a Wookie on Endor.
At 1500 plates, majority of the playerbase isnt going to get one empyrean to 95... if they wanted to place a limitation on one person having multiple empyreans above 90, they could have just hard coded it.
Late to the party here, I know, but am I the only one who thinks 1500 is fine the way it is? Empyreans get their largest boost in power going from 80 to 85 which was a cake walk at level 85... and now a complete breeze at 95. The effort required to get a relic or mythic weapon to 95 is now about on par with a 95 empyrean. People still get a taste of top-tier power with minimal effort because it's still a breeze to get their empyreans to 85 or 90, but now not everyone is going to be running around with 3-5 fully upgraded, top of the line weapons anymore. Let's face it, that shit got boring fast.
Nope lots of people think 1500 is fine and the ones complaining cant see the big picture. The last stages of voidwatch could introduce pouches on tier1s linens on tier3-4 for all we know. Ill wait until the system is fully implemented before I complain to much, if nothing changes then meh at least there will be separation from dedication to the crap aby is spitting out.
The big picture doesn't exist yet, so how can anyone see it? I think the hope of the people making all these posts is that the developers will understand the frustration of the players with the crappy heavy metal drop rate and high requirement and either significantly increase the drop rate and quantity in the next set of Voidwatch, or make the level 99 weapon a vast improvement such that it's actually worth upgrading. As it stands now, there's really not much reason to upgrade an Emp from 90 to 95 unless you've accomplished like everything else you want to in the game (relic, mythic, whatever else). I agree that people are probably overreacting and that the 90 to 95 upgrade will probably be easier in the future for a few different reasons, but there's really no way to know that for sure and the next set of Voidwatch is probably still months off.
Then wait until its complete before trying to pressure SE with mountains of QQ that the systems is flawed? not you but in general.
I really hope the system stays the way it is and evolves more when the new tiers come out, until then Ill keep selling plates to Pchan for outrageous prices because patience isn't a virtue apparently.
if the price is low, everyone will start buying them, and there won't be any to buy. There just isn't enough supply. Demand is low too, hardly anyone buys them on my server.
Demand is high enough on my server to keep them around 200k each.
200k is just crazy and stupid. Some people are too stupid or too rich I guess!
Well, it works like this:
* You have two people who think 200k is an okay price. They buy at 200k.
* You have a dozen people hoping the price drops to 150k, but they make several mil a day and see their Heavy Metal total not increasing, so they grudgingly buy a little at 200k.
* You have a bunch of people who wouldn't even pay 100k per plate, but somehow think that they're going to finish some day if they just collect plates from Voidwatch fights they do.
In the end, the price is stuck at 200k for a few months.
There was a mule in PJ on Lakshmi selling 300+ Plates in his bazaar for over 200k. Over the course of a few days, I saw him decrease his prices very incrementally, and last I saw he was at 198k. Nobody was buying. I gather the "sweet spot" for people would be 100-150k.
Plates are rotting in Bazaars on Cerb for 100-120k. Nobody seems to be buying atm.
I keep hoping this will happen on Lakshmi, but I'm pretty sure the reason that mule Mahoro was talking about disappeared . . . is because someone bought all the plates at 198k each. Oh well. I'll just keep hoarding gil for a bit and buying the cheap ones I see. If the 99 update is coming so soon, I may just put off really hitting the plates hard until then. Odds are they're going to drop off low tier monsters on the next voidwatch tier anyway.
And by next tier, I bet we'll need new plates for 99 version! Bet we wont even see 99 till next year, and will just get some mini updates till then.
Prices will only drop when people stop buying, ie when people finish theirs.
Big picture lol. How can you say we can't complain until we see it when the whole possible big picture you explain is it changing to something much easier? Not even a definite just a possiblility. The entire reason it would be changed would be because it is so messed up right now and so much complaining not some oh yeah were going to do this anyways just messing with ya for a few months. We really got you... That'd be like saying when KB came out man maybe one day they will do something to make it not as bad so no use complaining now. And what do you know several years later they did!!! And I bet they had always planned on it... and ya know even if they did it doesn't make it any less dumb when it was dumb
I mean for all you know they might lower the droprate only add another couple of dmg and 3 stat to the final version and give relic 50% ODD another 25% ws boost and an easy as piss trial while making farming currency even more rediculously easy than it is now. And of course keep mythic trials incredibly easy but making the weapon very time consuming to make but give it OA2-4... The fact is we don't know what they will do just what it is now
I might understand this wrong, but if I don't and you are saying the KB/entire Kings system got improved, I have to disagree. I would much rather camp a mob for 3 hours and go afk between windows for a chance of NQ only to pop than go 1/20 on a KB pop item(which translates to almost 2k Kindred Seals). Sure you can get lucky, but the majority won't.
