If you have a linkshell of 12 people and the one with the staff has high attendance and others don't, you have 1 event a week at most and it won't matter who starts anyway. Different with those who are stuck with 18 people, easier to skip etc etc.

I seen people attend dynamis for years and even seen LS leaders being changed around with new versions of the same LS. If the leader says, im doing aegis and excal and you guys are just lotting AF2... then that what ends up happening. Then they offer like 300 attendance points to lot a shadow mantle and ring and bam... everyone has a false hope that they will get a shadow mantle one day and they all stayed in the LS like pawns.

You can work at an office and you been there for 7 years, then bam... the new guy gets offered the supervisor spot and the huge pay raise and bonus cause he knocked up the boss pretty good. I see people get advanced in jobs through the "back door" all the time.

If the LS leader says all heavy metal plates go to me and you guys fight for freelot equipment items... then you do it or get kicked. Just saying.. I ain't butthurt, I will complete mine weapon but I will have to be greedy to do it and ima have to hurt some ppls feeling then. Not my style but we will see who's butthurt in the relic/mythic screenshot thread when my screenshot is up with a level 99. Still a dumb concept but the VW is still VERY EARLY in its stages and they will make it EASIER im 100%.

I remember how they added Lunar abyssites and added less stone time and added 3 "???" pop spots and then made the NMs pop every 10-15 mins. They nerfed empyreans weapons difficulty like 6 times... It will happen again. I remember when people thought key item was 10% drop rate before they knew about staggers.

a) wouldn't know how to use it or
b) is in a LS that isn't even half decent, which seems to be the case here going by what you are saying(even though you aren't playing, I know I know), and you seem to be exactly like one of those people you are describing. I can also be fairly sure I'll have my relics at 99 by the time you get your so beloved Emp to 99.

It's easy to say "I knew that would happen" or "I told everyone", but I don't really see where you did. You are saying Emps will beat Relics at 99(for some, that's a "still")? I'll get back to you once the 99 cap is out then.

yea lol. One time I joined a LS and it was only 2 days New. I joined the LS on day 2 right. I got lucky and claimed NQ behemoth on day 6 which ppl thought KB would pop so there was like 100 ppl in the zone.

The next day, KB popped in the same exact area and I claimed him again. One again this was luck because I rarely claim monsters to begin with. I claimed with chi blast from the menu again. This is my 2nd day in the LS and I already claimed the NM twice. The LS is only THREE days NEW at this point.
The behemoth tongue dropped. I was told to pass cause some guy had more points then me and been in the LS longer by 1 day. I claimed the NM twice... HTF do I pass on the tongue? I rather cast lots against 17 other ppl then be told to pass an item when I claimed it 2 days in a row. This was back before WOTG came out.

When it came to black belt, i got got screwed up the ass over 300 times. It was the most drama filled item in the entire game for my server. It was worth it when I got it though. I went to kings everyday even if I had to do it alone. I don't think ppl bot though otherwise I wouldn't have claimed fafnir and KB.

Shady shit goes on in our server, IDK about yours.

P.S: I don't work in offices. I hear about murders going on in offices where a co-worker poisons the rival's coffee because he got a promotion first when he was new lol. These stories are like on unsolved mysteries and shit lol.

They only did Serket, cassie, behemoth,KB, aspid, adamantoise and thats it lol. It was a new shell with small numbers. They beat KB by luck as we hoped the NQ would pop cause we thought we couldnt even fight KB. I attended all the events cause me and my friend crookedsparkle did everything together. He would steel cyclone a mob for massive damage then we all saw him die afterwards LOL. good times!

Back on topic, If I got a level 99 empyrean... how does your logic say I do not know how to use the said weapon... and htf does your logic say that I have a shitty LS. If I had a shitty LS how the hell would the LS be able to complete a level 99 empyrean?

I have the best gear on my job and Have literally every single peice of equipment a mnk can equip in the game. So your logic fails. I have the best chakra set, best WS set, best TP gear... everything. I could care less what you think.

everything is starting to go off-topic now.. Metal plates will get nerfed so it doesnt matter.

I remember when abyssea had no abyssite of discernment, it had ONE pop spot for mobs like carabosse and it had 1-3 hour spawn NMs I believe.. which is now 10-15 min respawns. Then they added AF3 seals in BCNMs and other areas and then they added AF3+2 on original empyrean weapon NMs, making those weapons even easier to get. The level cap difference also made things slightly easier. Then to top it off... People STILL whined about 10-15 min NMs being overcamped by JPS so they added key items in the chest for mobs like tht pieste Gutz...whatever his name is.

All in all, the empyrean weapons got easier like 5 times in a row.
1.Multiple spawns for "???"
2.Abyssite of Discernment for faster key item spawns.
3. Lowered brew to 200k after beating shinryu
4. 10-15 min respawns.
5. Added more key items in amber chests.
6.Added AF3+2 items to original NMs like chloris... so random ppl will actually have an incentive to help you with your chloris pops.

List goes on...

Now they added max stagger on Voidwalker which probably gives you a temp item of a brew... Like in Walk of echos I just did. Someone brewed the conflux 9 boss lol.

So in 2 days, you got every single item for MNK you missed in 7 months of FFXI, including capping your Verethragna to 90(which doesn't take long, but with a 7 month break there's more to catch up on than that)? Care to share your "best" TP, WS, chakra, everything sets? I'm a little curious now, and while you are at it, have some people verify that you took a 7 month break.

And you ask what tells me that your LS is shitty? Any half assed Linkshell can kill Qilin with 18 people, as long as they have decent people helping them get to T3, or have just a single person in the ally who can start it. The fact that you keep giving examples about bad past LSs just shows that you indeed stayed in those shitty LSs in the past, and your constant whining about current things shows that you again are in one of those, even if it's just to complain. If you could help me find the fail in my logic, then please do so.

Completing an Emp to 95 is a matter of how willing your members are to grind, not how skilled they are.

I got more plates with random jpn pickup groups than with my ubershell. Rest I just purchased with the gil I had.

Surprisingly yes they do... There are still idiots that play this game lol. There is an LS on my server that does it and the members are all tools who follow a fat leader who uses them to make 10+ empys.
