The Ducks havent been playing we as of late. They have lost 5 of their last 6 and suddenly, offense has become an issue. Losing 3-1 to the Jackets and 3-0 to the Preds the last two games.

Their defense is suspect again so against a team like the Caps, they have a good chance of being lit up.

Yeah that's true, but lots of questions up and down the lineup for the Caps tonight. The only line intact from the road swing is Ovie-Nick-Brouwer, and Erskine in for Collins means new pairings too. I could see Ovie or Good Sasha go nuts, or I could see them take a ton of penalties like they did in Edmonton and Vancouver.

Right now I'm thinking of going Ottawa at 2.8, Tampa at 1.9, Ana at 2.5 and Det at 1.4. $10 bets pays out 186.20.

Then do a smaller one of Anaheim at 2.5 and Det at 1.4. $10 pays 35

Jiri Hudler scratched, Gustav Nyquist was called up from Grand Rapids earlier and will be taking his spot on the 2nd line, playing with Franzen and Bertuzzi apparently.

Crazy uncharacteristic for the Wings, Nyquist has only played in 17 AHL games (8 last season at the end when he was on a tryout after the college season ended and 9 this season) and 0 NHL games excluding preseason, and is only TWENTY TWO. That's like 5 years younger than a bunch of other guys when they got brought up. And he is actually being played with real players instead of being Ville Leino'd and put on the 4th line with huge expectations.
