I was discussing this with my boss yesterday afternoon before the game, he asked me what was wrong. One of the first things I said was that they're trying to be too fancy and keep trying to sneak in backdoor instead of just cycling, and having net presence, and shooting the puck as much as possible. That Puck Daddy article pretty much sums up what I was saying.

Does having Campbell not there hurt us? Yeah, I'll concede that, but only because he was good with passing and setting things up. He hardly ever scored on the powerplay and was more so the eyes of the unit. I agree with the article too, that we need two actual defensemen out on the point for powerplays.
