And I'm discounting that play because the refs had called Havlat for diving a minute later and were looking to even things up. Would you call Havlat a diver? Afaik he's never had a history of that. One instance doesn't make a tendency.

I don't want to start this up again, but Havlat wasn't called for diving in that game. I do recall you saying that you think he deserved a diving penalty and I think I remember the play, so I'll just go ahead and think thats what you meant. I remember the play iirc, but I'd like to see a replay again before I ultimately pass judgement.

Edit: And I'm not sure who exactly would have that replay, unfortunately.

He got called for Holding the Stick at the same time of the hooking penalty to the Stars player. Wasn't a dive in the wording, but the ref put him in the box too for embellishing. /shrug

I'd like to see both plays then. I remember the Ott Diving call as Ott basically getting hit behind his knees then falling over. From the replays I remember the Diving call looked fine. Thing is, most dives don't get called. This one did. Marleau still got called for a hook.
