Friday I played 5 games: Detroit, Min, Chicago, St.Louis, Philly. I thought I was done when Philly was down 3-1 mid second...every other game had either won, or were winning in progress. Go to bar, watch highlights, shocked when Philly comes back and wins...next highlight, St Louis chokes to Colorado. My other ticket today: Isles, Wings, Phx, Calgary, LA, SJ. Presuming SJ comes back, and LA wins..I'm going to get trolled by St Louis twice in a row (lose to 12th place team when I bet them, beat 4th place team when I dont bet them).

Anyways, Unless the Kings make a big trade or get a new coach, we will be missing the playoffs this year.

This reminds me of 01-02. We had just got to the 2nd round the year before and lost 7 games to the Avs. We had a good team going into the next season, having gotten Allison, Steve Heinze and Potvin being back in form. Heinze and Smolinski then go on a 20 something goal scoreless drought a piece and the only offense we had was the Palffy-Allison-Deadmarsh line.

We had big hopes going into the season, and people had us going as far as the West Finals but we played like crap, finished 7th by backing in, and faced the Avs and lost in 7 again.
