That being said, Penguins can't compete with higher tier teams like the Flyers, especially when they take the 2nd period off, every single game. We desperately miss Letang, when Orpik was good, and when Picard wasn't in our line-up.

Simmonds was always a hard "clean" player for the Kings.

Seems once he became a flyer though, hes gotten more dirty with his playing. Sad really.

Sad thing is, Lovejoy is one of two defenseman who even look like they want to be out there at this point. Him and Despres. No one else is playing with any urgency.

And it's very difficult for me to even praise Lovejoy for anything.

Well Lovejoy knows he's playing for his job at this point with how hard Despres is playing. I'm not sure what's up with Niskanen. Orpik is definitely missing Letang. Engelland will be back and will hopefully inject some fury into the line up.

FML, Picard is just atrocious, numerous scoring chances for Flyers courtesy of Picard tonight.... shit, I got a $200+ ice hockey stick I only use as a backup for deck hockey, if you fuckers pitch in for skates I'll go play the 6D slot and we could call it an improvement.

Well, points in every game under the Sutter era. Move into at least a Tie for the Division lead and moved into the 8th spot in the rest, tied for 7th with Nashville.

Ah, I can't even really feel good about this, lol. Dallas has 2 games in hand on us, San Jose has 4, Nashville has 1. Still a ton of work to go and a 6 in a row at home now. Its really hard for me to get excited about this little streak considering we still can't score for shit.
