    Not a bad idea that will sadly never happen because there isn't as much sponsor money in it. As long as they continue to selling the licensing to everything involved in the ASG it's gonna stay.

    I really like the ASG, especially the new format, I just don't like ten billion Canadian herpaderps being able to vote mediocre players(Spezza, Gonchar) into it. Last year's Carolina contingent was fine, Staal's a respected name and should have been in it since it was there and he's the captain, Skinner's a legit star, and Ward being mic'd up was the single best part of the game on top of him being a big name/good goaltender. 5 players from a sub-500 team is garbage.
