So looks like the Kings roster has been set for the year.

Clifford, Moreau, Richardson, Hunter will most likely change around through out the year. Penner might miss the first game of the season or both as he has "a lower body injury" and Parse will take his spot till hes back.

Feeling pretty good about this line up. Im most likely day dreaming but im expecting 20+ goals a piece from everyone on the top 2 lines and 15ish from Stoll and Hunter.

Should be a good year for this team and I dont remember the last time I went into a season with this much hope. Playoffs should all but be a lock at this point. 3rd or 4th should be where we finish are im looking for AT LEAST getting to the 2nd around or this season will be a failure imo.

I think its safe to say we should be able to hang and beat the big boys out west (Van, SJ, Det, Chi)

He came up through the NCAA ranks. He started the 09-10 season with LA due to O'Donnell being out with a suspension. Didnt look good at all in the 4 games he played and was sent back down to the AHL for the year.

Came back up last year in Nov when Jake Muzzin, another young Kings defensemen who earned the 6th man spot started to struggle and played well enough to stick for the whole year.

Hes not a very highly rated prospect but hes a good 5th-6th defensemen with some offense flair who can play well in his own end. After Doughty and Johnson we really have no one else on our blue line that was a puck mover so he got the call because we like to have a puck mover with a stay at home for all 3 pairs.

Hes one of the few D man that will always shot the puck which for whatever reason, Johnson and Doughty tend to not do as much which is weird since Doughty has a hell of a shot.

Hes solid but basically hes at the point where "its his job to lose". I wouldnt be shocked if Voynov comes up at some point and takes away that spot as he has more upset but still needs a little work on his own end.

So im going to the Kings vs Flyers game on Oct 15th. I heard if I wear a jersey of the other team, ill get killed. Will they forgive me for wearing a Lapperrie Kings jersey?

Im in no ways a flyers fan but living 30 minutes away from there now, i kinda started to follow them some since with A) the Kings trade I know Simmonds and Schenn very well and B) Pre-season games are on TV here and went to the rookie game since hey, im a hockey fan but I gotta say.

That, does not look like a contender to me. I love Simmonds but hes not a 2nd line player. He can fill in for spot duty but shouldnt be counted on full time. They basically have 2 players on the 2nd line that havent proven a lot even on weaker teams like the Jackets and Kings over the past 3 years so not sure why they put them in such high profile rolls here. Hell even having JVR as your number 1 left wing is a gamble.

Honestly, I dont see them being in the mix for 1st in the atlantic and I can see them finishing 9th or 10th.
